This hostel is close to train station and easy walk to city centre. It is clean and great breakfast is included. Shame there isn't a kitchen but getting something to eat is not a problem. Parking if you need it. Helpful staff. Reasonably priced. I enjoyed my stay here. There are outdoor and indoor areas where people socialise.

I was upgraded to a two person room as they were really busy at the time I stayed. This is a friendly hostel with great staff, excellent facilities. Any problems are solved really quickly like how to use the stove. They take passports and return them when their paperwork is completed rather than photocopying them which is a bit weird but no problem. Events organised at hostel help guests to mingle and get to know one another. Loved my stay,,, wish I could have stayed longer.

Hostel Dubrovnik Sunset

The staff are keen to do a great job and are always looking to improve things via feedback from their guests. This hostel is very friendly and although it isn't in the centre of Dubrovnik it is easy to catch the shuttle €2 each way to town, or there are plenty of local buses that go past the end of the road. Having a pool is great and there is a local beach, restaurants and a couple of supermarkets. It is seasonal hostel - opened a week when i was there. Would stay again.

MEININGER Berlin Airport

This is one train stop from airport (if you are too late for shuttle) so is great for late arrivals to Berlin from Schonefeld airport, Close to the train station stop (across the main road). It's clean and had a separate toilet in the room as well as the shower/toilet combined. Breakfast is extra but substantial. There is also a guest kitchen. The staff are very helpful, and a day 1-3 day public transport pass makes it easy to get around Berlin which is a big city to walk around.

Being picked up from the wharf was helpful and made life easy, although it is a very short distance from the wharf. The room is very comfortable and had a patio. There is a basic kitchenette downstairs where you can make a hot drink. It was quiet when I stayed there but there are common areas. Everyone is very friendly.

No kitchen to cook in but restaurant downstairs. I didn't use it as i went to local cafes and supermarket, on island. straight opposite the main square of Venice island so location is great. Plenty of showers and toilets to use on each floor, Rooms can be tight for space but you are in Venice!

Great place to stay. Close to the train. Free walking tour that is actually free. AWESOME breakfast! Friendly and helpful staff. The room I was in had plenty of space for 8 beds, huge lockers, ensuite toilet / shower combined, and an additional toilet. A mirror in each bathroom plus bedroom. Personal lights and power point, plus extra switch that meant anyone could turn off the main light without getting out of bed. The wifi wasn't too bad in the room either.

Hostel Cloud Nine

I was really happy staying at this hostel. It has a great atmosphere and it seems to attract a lot of musicians and singers, which makes for a great time on the terrace at night. There's only one shower for guests to use so it can be tricky getting a shower at peak times, and two toilets ... one of which is in the same room as the shower. However, the place is clean, the water is hot and everyone is very friendly. I extended my stay here and had a great time.

It is a cheap hostel. Forget about cooking in the kitchen - eat out. Toilet paper disappears very quickly. The rooms are very clean but the guests can be untidy in the common areas and seem to smoke inside. I found the staff great and enjoyed my stay here but I was prepared for the worst based on the feedback provided and have to say I was pleasantly surprised. Take a taxi from bus station if you have heavy bags as it is uphill, but the hostel is sign posted in the Medina. I would stay again,

The Christmas Eve dinner and party at the hostel was a nice idea for people travelling. This hostel is very central and has the basic necessities you need when travelling. It's no frills and the lift's are definitely a challenge when you want to get your bag down from 8th floor.
