Lovely location. Across the road from the park and the lake. The hostel has 2 kitchens which is nice. The staff were great. The only thing is the room was a bit smelly (maybe because they don't get aired out much because there are a lot of mosquitos in the area). If there were some room deoderisers that might be good. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay here. Clean, comfortable and a laundry service for 4.50 Franks.

Perfect Hostel

An older hostel, but clean. The staff were helpful. There was an older man there who harassed me EVERY time I used the kitchen (I stayed here 4 nights). He told me off for everything like using the wrong towel to dry dishes, missing a crumb on the table, for not using the right bin etc. Not a good atmosphere at all and made me not like my stay as much as he was extremely rude to me every time I stepped foot in the kitchen (PS, kitchen is just for sandwiches etc you can't cook in there)

MEININGER Brussels City Center

The facilities were great and the location was good. We thought it was an interesting and vibrant surrounding area and about 15 mins walk to city centre. It is a green hotel so it can get very hot and stuffy, breakfast was overpriced for what it was and the kitchen was terribly dirty. They need a staff member to monitor the kitchen, as it is a big hostel so the kitchen is bound to get dirty. Great potential for meeting people with a bar and gaming area downstairs.

Hostel Van Gogh

More like a hotel than a hostel. There isn't really much atmosphere to meet others. We met people in our room and got along, but there is no nice common area to relax in. The breakfast would be okay if it was free, but is disappointing to pay 5 euro per person for something really average. Rooms were comfortable and clean and location is perfect! Across the road from the Van Gogh museum and a 2 minute walk to eating district and city centre.

Clean, comfortable and quiet hostel- perfect! The staff were fantastic and told us how to get to everything and let us know about a funky eating district, which was cool!. The location is not in the city centre but was SO easy to get to city centre, the port and eating areas by metro which was a 2 minute walk away. Not a party hostel, which I prefer. Had a great stay here

We had a great stay here. Amazingly clean! We cooked in the kitchen and it had everything you need. Staff were amazing! Our train wasn't leaving until 10pm on the day we checked out, so they let us shower and leave our luggage there until late afternoon. Great breakfast provided each morning. Perfect for couples or people who want to get a good rest !

This place was fine to sleep for one night. We arrived late, slept fine and then left the next morning. Though, there was no soap in bathroom and no toilet paper. The staff were nice. Very close to train station which was convenient (Warsaw Centralny)

I cannot fault this place! We stayed here for 3 nights, then ended up returning for another 2 because we loved it so much. The owners were really great and even invited us fishing. The place has a really chilled cosy vibe and is super clean. Everything about this place is awesome- location (close to bus station), staff, cleanliness, atmosphere, value for money. Highly recommend staying here. Would stay again!

We were not given a key to lock our room on arrival. Even after asking for one, the reception said there was nobody else staying there so we didnt need one (though we had other groups come through there during our stay). It was a weird vibe with nobody really saying hello, and often just ignoring you after you greeted them. The only plus was that we got a 6 room dorm to ourselves. There were 2 girls at reception who were really lovely and printed our bus tickets for us. Facilities were okay.

We had a pretty nice stay at the hostel. Though the walls were so thin it felt like there was a party inside your room. Waking up to this at 2am was not too fun and made it hard to get to sleep. The facilities were nice, the bathroom good, nice garden and bar. No soap in the bathroom which is kind of gross.
