The staff is friendly. The room was clean and spacious. A fun welcome drink when you arrive and a full bar downstairs. Huge kitchen and eating area and a lovely common area. A far walk to the museum district but it's still a great location. I would stay here again.

Great location and clean modern facility. There wasn't much sense of community or friendliness between a staff and guests. Would not recommend for solo travelers. The nighttime girl chancing is in was nice but the daytime staff member was very rude and impatient.. Which is uncomfortable when you're traveling in a new country. Bed were comfy and bathroom wa clean.

The beds were so comfortable with IKEA down comforters and thick soft mattresses. A/C in the rooms. WIFI only in the lobby. So many stairs and the floor layout is very confusing. Close to the metro stop and in an area with bars, restaurants and shops. Our en suite bathroom was disgusting with the maids mop buckets (2) sitting in there full of dirty water. would stay here again. good accomodation for the price,

Sheets are a necessity and guests should NOT be expected to pay for something so basic. Bathrooms/showers are in subpar condition and need repair. Common room is picnic style tables so it feels awkward. No organized pub crawls, dinners, or walking tours. No privacy curtains on beds. Location sucks. Closest sights are a far walk to sagrada familia or far walk to razzmatazz. A 1+ hour walk to city center/las rambla. Staff wouldn't even look up when you walked in. Would not rec for solo travelers

Everyday we have activities including tapas made by our staff, then we go parting to the best clubs like Opium and Shoko(free entry) as you can read in other reviews. There is a bar, TV, computers/internet, sofas, great terrace, etc. For the Walking tours we have Sandeman doing it, worldwide known company. BCN has a great metro system, in front of the hostel you have line 1 that takes you to Ramblas in less than 10 minutes. Sagrada and Razz are 15 minutes walking distance. Thanks for the review!

I LOVED this hostel.. It was the perfect hostel experience. Helpful and engaging staff, clean and private rooms, incredible location near everything, very affordable, day trips/pub crawl/nightly dinners were all worth more than what they ask you to pay. Great vibes from the other guests. I absolutely would stay here again and have already recommended to my friends. This is the perfect hostel if you are a young solo traveller, since they go out of their way to make you feel at home!

No common area. Secure luggage storage. Comfy, spacious rooms and bed. Located next to termini station which is convenient but the area is run down, feels dangerous and not good for sightseeing. FYI:: there is no Four Seasons sign on the street.. Keep in mind the sign outside says "Downtown Hostel" (they share a building), causing much confusion. Laundry facilities and a toiletries vendingachine. No personal bedside lights. Would stay here again while in transit but no more than one night.

This hostel is perfect for a young traveler on a budget. It is located a few blocks from Puerta del Sol, has a friendly and helpful staff, attached bar and planned activities. The free walking tour is a must. Harriet is an incredible tour guide hosts.. She is funny, friendly and so knowledgable about the city if Madrid. My only complaint is the bathrooms in the room have a gap b/w the floor and door so there isn't much privacy. You can see and smell everything.. Awkward!
