I really loved this hostel, so cheap and yet a fine bed and a swimmingpool (!!!) and the staff was super friendly. They also picked me up from the airport for a small amount of money and e-mailed me as soon as I had made the reservation to ask whether I needed a transfer to get to the hostel. I'd really reccomend this hostel to anyone going to Sanur.

The staff was horrible, an eleven year old guy who was litarily screaming to another guest and being extremely inpacient with us.

Milan is our hero. He picked us up at the trainstation and made a schedule of everyones activities for the day and the next day so he could bring you to your activity in time. Also we got really sick and the next morning he showed up with tea and some pills to get us through the day. Also everything else about the hostel was perfect, we would reccomend Jackelj to everyone. Thanks Milan!!!

Loved it here. Everything about this place was right. Only thing for us was that since it was pretty big it felt more like a hotel and therefor not a really hostel-like atmosphere with people getting together in the communal areas. Aside from that everything was perfect!

Not that the staff was bad nor the security but i just want to make a point with the very low rating. The dorm we stayed in was a dosaster. The moment we arrived in the basement dorm we wanted too leave asap. It was hot, disgusting, too many beds, there was no window. We took a shower (dirty and small) and left. We tried to be back as late as possible so we might fall asleep but it was too hot and the fan and the bathroom made noises at night really loudly. Worst dorm i've ever slept in.

It was ok since we were there for the lakes and not for socializing or so. We didn't feel welcome in the hostel, since they put up a sign that we could use their kitchen, but everytime we went there, they were having a private thing going on. And when we had dishes, first time they said: 'oh just leave them upstairs, we'll do that.' And then the next day we did leave them since the kitchen was 'occupied' and we got a comment of the owner that last day was an exception. Made us feel very awkward.

We had a really nice stay in studio, it was near everything, yet a little bit out of the fuz and the noise. Clean, nice kitchen, nice bathroom. Basicly everthing you need. Felt a little awkward when the owners daughter (who was running the place at the moment) asked us for a good review. After that it all didn't feel really sincere. Aside from that, perfect hostel!

We just stayed at Florentine the last night of our trip through Israel, which was a shame. it seems like the place where you can get to know a lot of nice people and with the beautifull lounge on the roof it is the ultimate hostel to socialize. The staff was very helpfull as well. We defenitly woud reccomend this hostel if you want to meet new people and don't have to get up early to catch your plane ;)

Really lovely stay, location absolutely perfect, and the staff was very helpfull. Only thing was the shower with the timer, had the feeling as if i had to protect my spot, nervebreaking.. Thats all, everything else was super!

It is a while ago now but we (my sister and I) had the most amazing time in Israel last winter. We actually booked another 2 additionel nights because we couldn't bare the thought of leaving. We spend new years there and it was awesome. The staff is, the lodges are and the location too. Best i've ever stayed in!!

It is a hotel with a few crappy rooms in it which they use as dorms. Our room wasn't clean at all, hairs on the beds, bathroomfloor and in the bathtub. There was a massive hole in the wall of the bathroom and there was a dirty carpet hanging in front of it. But we could leave the next day and the guy at the desk was very friendly. Its also very near to the water so thats nice too.

Location perfect. Looks real nice too, but immidiately when we arrived we got a massive list of things we could use, and also what the price would be. There wasn't a single thing for free use, which is fine, but not in this way presented. Also we slept in the same dorm as the cleaninglady who was sleeping 24/7 with a little heater which went up to 40 degrees celcius or so and there wasn't a single window in the room.
