Amazing hotel right outside of the small town of koutouloufari. Very nice and helpful couple that run the place. Great value! By far the nicest place that we stayed on our month long backpacking trip throughout Europe.

Rethymno Youth Hostel

The staff here (Alex) basically made our stay. He helped is out with renting a car and finding places to go. Very knowledgeable about the island and places to see. In the morning he will make you made to order breakfast for a couple of euro. Kitchen here is somewhat small but it'll do the job. Rooms were on the smaller side and their were a lot of beds packed into one but you shouldn't be spending that much time indoors anyway in such a beautiful place!

I think this hostel gets overlooked sometimes because it's a little smaller and not directly in the middle of the city but it is still amazing. We were able to walk to all the major attractions from the hostel. The kitchen is a little on the smaller side but it'll do the job. The staff were very friendly and helpful as well. Great value for its money!

Kabul Backpackers Hostel

This hostel is definitely not for someone who is looking to have a nice relaxing vacation in Barcelona. The lobby is basically a club complete with its own bar. We stayed in a 16 person room which was pretty insane in my opinion. You have to be okay with loud music and people coming in at all hours of the night. We did meet some really cool people though and got to go to some great clubs/bars while in Barcelona.

Probably the best hostel that I've ever stayed at. Granted their was a large group of us traveling together so we had our own room to ourselves but everything was still pretty perfect. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The town itself is very small so you couldn't really go wrong with the location. The major shopping center with all the supermarkets was less than a 5 min walk. Kitchen was big and very helpful and their were various small common rooms with tvs and couches to chill in.

Pretty nice hostel. The staff were amazing and very helpful. Showers could have been a bit nicer. You have to constantly be pressing the button for the hot water to come out. In the morning their was a lot of construction going on and some rooms were right next to the train tracks.

Location was amazing! We were so one block away from the beach and the hostel was very cheap as well! The only downside was that their wasn't a kitchen.
