Apple Hostel

Hong Kong, Hong Kong

Apple was great! The staff was super friendly and let us check in early on New Year's day. The rooms are small, but comfy. The location is ideal of HK as it's right across from the Tsim Sha Tsui station and walking distance to other sights. The only drawback is that the building is a little sketchy. Since it's on the 10th floor, it would be faster just to take the stairs up than wait on that elevator. Apple hostel is the perfect place for a budget trip to HK!

The Bananas

Krabi, Thailand

Amazing location! It is a bit out of the way. The bus might drop you off in some random location, but if you go to that pink house, there will be a sign for the bus/truck. And be sure to tell the driver to stop at the bananas since ( for me at least) it popped out of no where. The beaches were amazing with vey nice views. Definitely borrow one of their bikes to explore the little town around the area. And the food was fantastic! Bananas has a lot to offer. I wish I had stayed longer!

Kikies House

Chiang Mai, Thailand

Great hostel in the heart of the old city! You can basically walk to any of the main attractions. Also the group room was clean and well decorated so you feel at home. The weekend trek was a little cheesy, but the campsite where we spent the night was beautiful Kikie's offers a bus for 500 baht back to Kao San road. It does drop you off at the beginning of the main street that is perpendicular to Kao San road. Don't listen to the taxi drivers! Just walk left from the traffic circle.
