Hotel Pensione Ottaviani

The Hostel is well located. It is easy to reach. The quality of the breakfast could improve: I had breakfast one day and it included one brioche and tons of cookies. No fruit, no yogurt, no bread, no cheese, no ham. It is not worth having breakfast there.

Resort Campogaio

It should be clearly defined what type of place is Resort Campogaio. It is not a hostel, it is a camping site. Is not clear, because it is listed as part of Hostelworld. Furthermore, there are not enough photos in the site to get a clear picture of what kind of place it is. When you arrive, you realize that it is a camping site, and that you don't get rooms like in a hostel, but "huts". And that the bathroom is shared with a lot (a lot) of people. You don't get your room cleaned daily.

Mini Hotel

The location of the hostel is perfect: almost inside the city center. Also the train station is pretty close by. It can get a bit scary at night, specially if you don't know which "vicolos" (alleys) are safe.

Noble Art Hostel

You get what you pay for. Good things: the host is a really kind lady, that takes her time to suggest you places to visit. Besides that, you get one bathroom for each room, so if you rent the whole room with your friends, you will have your own bathroom (which was actually big and clean). Bad things: I would say that anything, since the idea of going to Florence is to spend as much time as you kind in discovering the city.

Hostel Veronique

You get what you pay for. Good things: price/quality; location. Things to improve: just one bathroom for more than one room (so you may have to share it with lots of people that doesn't really care about leaving the bathroom clean); weird smell in entrance. Anyhow, perfect place to stay, since you spend almost all day sightseeing the beautiful city. Florence pays off.

I had stayed in this hostel two times: one in summer and one in winter. In both times, my experiences was more than excellent. The staff is great, really kind and friendly, and the hostel is amazing. Is located in an amazing spot. The thing is I just love Cordoba and its people :)
