Couldn't get the WiFi to work half the time. The room was very comfortable. Ok kitchen facilities. The manager (?) was very nice, but the other staff seemed uninterested. One toilet for each gender and one shower. Breakfast was not included.

Owner Comment (Hide)
You arrived late in the night and you said that you don't need a map and no other informations because you stayed in Bucharest before. In fact, you came for one night and had your flight next day afternoon. You booked the cheapest rate for a Private Room (Attic Double Bed / No breakfast RON 35.00 /person/night). Yes, in the case "no breakfast". I wonder where you stayed before. The competition here is dirty in many ways. We will unlist our property from HW for encouraging such dirty practices.

The doors locked, but no locker facilities. Great location, near the town center. The staff were pleasant to deal with. Plenty of seats in the common areas. Could do with power points near the outdoor seats. Great WiFi. No kitchen or kettle facilities. Breakfast of bread, cheese, olives, cereal, french toast, coffee / tea. Hot water for the shower. The cave dorms were super cold and the beds were damp. We were able to relax in the hostel on the day of departure after checkout.

Goreme Country House

Great Turkish breakfast with eggs cooked to your liking. Great WiFi in the common areas. Free pick-up and drop-off to the bus hub. Free tea and coffee. Hot water and enough toilets - one has a little trouble flushing though. The dorm area wasn't locked, but the place is a little away from the heavy traffic area so it was alright. The radiator worked well. Nice view from the rooftop too. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Kitchen was nice to be able to cook ourselves.

Good WiFi throughout the building. Small breakfast. No cooking facilities. The staff were very friendly. Great location - close to bus stop and near supermarkets & restaurants. The veranda was nice to relax, but no common area to meet other guests other than at breakfast.

Close proximity to the key historical sites of Athens. The staff were nice to deal with. The WiFi only works on the stairs, so people sit around talking and smoking until late in the evening. No lockers and only 2 power points for a 4 bed dorm room. The shower area doesn't lock and had warm water.

The place was suitable for a short stay. Excellent WiFi. Microwave, kettle & bar fridge. Only 2 toilets + showers. Comfy common area, but was not utilised by the guests. The 6 bed dorm is actually a 7 bed dorm.

Great hosts. Greeted with tea and was fed Tajine. Breakfast of bread, pancake (jam & honey) with tea. Good WiFi. The atmosphere was great if you don't mind the smoking. The linen were dirty (some with holes) though. The price varies, so check hostelbookers too.

Good WiFi in the kitchen area, but not so good in the bedroom. Great beds and locker facility. Fingerprint locks. Kitchen wasn't complete, so it was difficult to cook. Tiny fridge. Great location - close to many key sites of Seville. The overnight staff that didn't speak English was super nice.

Walking distance to the heart of the city. Nice WiFi in the common areas, not so much in the bedroom. Breakfast of corn flakes and white bread with jam. Finger print lock system to the building, but our door didn't close. The room was on the main hallway, so it was noisy at night. I'm not sure why they have gender segregated bathrooms. Good kitchen facilities. The staff were very pleasant. Free luggage storage in a locked area.

Great and new hostel! Short walk from the main shopping areas. WiFi in the common area (non in the bedrooms), breakfast of croissants, cereal and muffins, comfortable and clean beds. Bag storage at 1€ per person. Enough toilet/bathrooms, but people tended to use the ones upstairs and not the ones on the ground floor. Few supermarkets (dia) nearby. Lidl is 10 minute walk.

Paraiso Travellers Hostel

Our reservation was not entered into their system, so we were moved from the dorm to a private room on our second night. The dorm room had plenty of space, very quiet, WiFi, access to the kitchen & multiple bathrooms. We met some great people there. The private room had a window into the main entrance, and was next to the renovation, so it was cold and very noisy. We had to get special permission to access the kitchen area from the manager.

Mount Eccles Court

Great WiFi. Plenty of power points. Our dorm room had plenty of room. The kitchen was big, but there was never enough dishes / cups. 3 / 4 stove tops couldn't be used. Had some issues with the door card as they expire everyday before the checkout time. The card also failed one time at 2 AM, which wasn't pleasant. Nice and affordable place, but we found the atmosphere a bit cold.

Great for budget travelers, but no WiFi - this made our travel planning difficult as the tourist information office is incorrectly marked on the street maps and also had no working WiFi. We were given our own dorm room though. Don't go to the fish and chips to the east. Go to the Bifteki place to the west.

Great cozy place. Had some confusion with check-in, as no one is on site, but was resolved eventually. WiFi works well, multiple toilets, hot water, shampoo, kitchen is a bit small, but enough room for guests to mingle. The oven runs very hot though, so set it to half the temperature and keep an eye on it.

Great accommodation. Very clean, card locked dorm & bathrooms, well equipped kitchen. No issues with WiFi. Lack of power points in the room though. Only one toilet for 30-ish people, so go during "off-peak" times. The bathroom is locked, so carry your card with you at all times. Credit cards are charged a fee, so bring cash.

Nice location (~5 mins walk) near Swayambhunath (monkey temple). You wake up hearing the morning chants from the near by temple, but the evenings are quiet. The atmosphere in the lounge area was quite good. This depends on the other guests, but the staff were happy to chat and mingle too. Plenty of room. 24/7 internet and power in the lounge. 75 RS / kg for laundry. They can look after your luggage too. Couldn't get the hot water working though.

Great value for money. The WiFi worked 24/7 as well as the hot water. When we had issues with the hot water, we were allowed to use a gas heated hot water system. The room very big for the price. Very pleasant staff. Plenty of cafes and restaurants along the side street. Ended up staying 5 nights.

Returned here for our last night in South Korea. Small room, but very cheap and has plenty of facilities. Do your washing early, as the washing machine is often in use just before the hours of operation ends. The WiFi strength depends on which room you stay in, but you can always use the common areas. There is a 10,000 W deposit for the key.
