The guest house is located in a beautiful position, walking distance from the lake and from main attractions. There's a beautiful rooftop unfortunately not really used (at least it looked like when I was there) but you can sit there to read, drink or just watch the amazing views. Hot water always available, clean and they also serve breakfast included in the price. Very recommended, a very valuable option in town and very kind people. Thank you!

The best thing about this lovely place is the beautiful roof top terrace, I spent a whole afternoon chilling out, drinking lassi and contemplating the amazing fort. The guest house is really nice, kind staff and very nice and economic food. The guy at reception (sorry forgot his name) is very kind and really helpful. The position is perfect and you can walk everywhere in the old town. I loved it!

not only the city is beautiful here, the house is a typical desert house with an open gardened patio in the center. Very simple but yet beautiful atmosphere. I had a very pleasant stay. The staff is very kind and looking after your satisfaction, the guest house is walking distance from the bus terminal and to the city center. Nice sitting around the fire at night to share experiences with other guests. Will definitely be back and really recommend it. Shoukrya!

Vaishnavi hotel is probably the nicest hotel I've been in India at a very budget price. Unfortunately I only stayed one night in this beautiful city. I appreciated the roof restaurant, the hot water at all times and the fact they provide towels (very rare) but i suggest to buy new ones together with new linen. I would recommend.

I choose the hotel for the terrace together with the internet access facility. I was told at the reception they have no internet access. Probably I've been particularly unlucky but during my stay: the terrace was closed, no internet as above said, no cable tv and there's no luggage storage (and they're so fully booked that wanted me to bring my bags on the sunrise vis
Thanks for your feedback , now the all staff has been changed hope to see you again and serve you better

the guest house is a little bit retired from the restaurants and shops area that you can reach with a 10 minutes walk. Rooms are nice and clean; My shared bathroom was shiny clean. From the roof top there's a beautiful view on the mountains, took very nice pics of sunrise. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Water was not hot at all times (as everywhere in Nepal for electricity reasons).
thanks sir ! The hot water problem is slight during the winters while in other seasons hot water is no more a problem.

The hotel is located walking distance to Durban square and the main tourist interest sites, shops and large number of restaurants around. The staff is very kind but as everywhere in Nepal there are problems with electricity and hot water, in summertime should be better! I would highly recommend this place to stay in Kathmandu if you're easygoing.
