We feel like the staff doesn't really care what was happening in the hostel or who was there, nor how their customers feel or what they need. Personally, we think that for the same price you might find places whit a more friendly and warm atmosphere. Beside this, the capsules look like a bit old and sloppy. However, they were big enough and quite private with the curtains. The showers were in the ground floor, near the entrance to the hostel, which is not really pleasant, but they were clean.

Daikoku Hostel

Osaka, Japan

The hostel was conveniently situated close to a subway station and Nanba train station. The rooms were 8 bed dormitories, they were really clean and comfortable. In the last floor there were the common room and the kitchen. Despite the kitchen was quite small it has everything needed to coock something quick. The only thing that surprised us was that the stairs were quite a mess, contrasting with the rest of the hostel. The staff, even if they don't speak too much English, was very helpful.
