Overall this place is awesome and would definitely recommend. The location is right in between the bus station (walking distance) and downtown (also walking distance). But because of this it is located kind of in the middle of nowhere and on a random street. Security is great though with double doors and a buzzer on the outside, and your own large locker inside. The facilities are beautiful and clean and staff is extremely helpful. Only bummer is that breakfast is pretty weak in comparison.

Everything is pretty solid overall. Gina and Gloria are fantastic. But they speak only espanol so its hard with beginners Spanish skills. Though we are in Chile, so I can't really complain. Breakfast is great (they make you an egg everyday), along with the usual S.A. breakfast affair of bread and jam. The internet is good, kitchen average, beds comfy and big. Only 2 bathrooms for 16 people though which is tough at times with chicks hogging the place! They have a tourism company, overpriced

We thought we had booked at a youth hostel. Among other rules, no outside alcohol allowed in the hostel, and only specific areas in-which you can drink the marked-up booze that you can buy at the hostel. Breakfast is very weak. Lockers to small to fit much in. Pluses: Internet is o.k., beds were comfy, and it has a rooftop deck over looking the lake (but once again, don't try to enjoy the view with a beer). Overall, not terrible, but i can't recommend it.

Homemade jams with breakfast, decent kitchen, good location. Staff is excellent, very helpful, in both spanish and english. Lockers big enough for large backpacks, and are given to everyone in your room. Internet is close to non-existent though and the computers are bad.

Wow, great staff. On top of thier game. Best breakfast we have had so far out of ten hostels too. Give you eggs to cook, yogurt, hommade bread and jam, OJ along with tea and coffee, and even fruit. Very clean and put together. The kitchen is excellent and has everything you need. Plus the place only has room for 8 people, so can intermingle with everyone, but the kitchen is never busy and its quiet when you want it to be. Great value and location is fine too. First 100% we have given.

Its a nice little place with a great continental breakfast. Everything is clean and they actually give you little choclates on your pillow when you arrive, believe it or not. Only downs are that it is a bit of a walk to town, maybe 10 mins or so. No big deal. Also don't expect a hostel experience. There is no kitchen to use and atmosphere is neither hostel nor homey bed and breakfast either. The staff is great though. Would reccomened.

Best rooms we have stayed in so far. Look like a 4 star hotel room. Family is nice and helpful with directions around town, where to eat, and plans for hiking. Held our luggage in their home while we went hiking over night 2nights. Only remark is that, like other reviews say, there is absolutely no internet service, don't be fooled. But in their defense, it is more of a town issue than their issue. Tip- head to Hotel La Aldea at the beginning of town, grab a coffee/wine & use their internet.

This is not a "hostel", its essentially a bed and breakfast at a hostel price. What more could you ask for! Rooms and bathrooms are in perfect condition. Breakfast is great (one day it was homemade ham and cheese breakfast sandwiches. The owners are UNREAL. Nicest people on the face of the planet. Only thing to take a couple minor points off is that it is maybe a 10 min walk from downtown, but straight up hill. Overall, we would go back any day of the week!

The staff was ridiculously helpful, fun, and easygoing. We stayed here multiple nights and did hikes inbetween, and the staff was super helpful in holding onto our luggage while we were gone, in a safe place. The location is great, with excellent views of the water from their outdoor seating area, and only 10 min walk from Centro. The breakfast is above average for what is to be found in Argentina. Only complaint is a dirty and not well stocked kitchen.

Wow, what great bilingual staff. Facilities have everything you'll need, including washing machine on premise. Breakfast was average to above average. You eat and hang out in a courtyard that is covered, literally, by a malbec grape vine terrace, with hammocks and a mini pool to relax in. excursions are super easy to book with the staff and they offer very cheap and very delicious all you can eat pizza and asado at the hostel on different nights.
