We stayed with a group of 6 people for 4 nights in a 6person dorm. Positive: - The beds were really good - Very nice and hot showers - Nice patio/terrace - good location with cheap restaurants in the neighbourhood Negative: - room (1K) is too small for 6 persons - showercabine too small + only one little coat rack + no ventilation - The staff wasn't friendly at all. They help you if you ask something, but it's without a smile and a with a big sigh - lot of noise at night Overall good hostel

Very good location in a marvelous old building. Everything was very clean. The staff was very helpfull! A small discomfort: the window in room 11 shakes everytime a tram or heavy vehicle passes. But all in all a very good hostel!!

You have everything you need for a few days in the city. It's a 10 minute-walk to the citycentre. The room & bathroom were a little bit old but very clean. You get fresh towels every day! The staff was very friendly! We had some problems with our planetickets and they helped us to solve the problem. Spanish knowledge is helpfull though. 1 negative point: If you have some loud neighbors, you will hear everything.

We really liked the hostel! The Staff was very nice and helpfull for example with making reservations in restaurants for 7 people during the busiest time in Prague (during the World Cup Ice Hockey). We had a little problem with the payment of the taxi and they were also very helpfull - Thanks Petr! A few things could be better, for example the showers weren't that clean and there was no place to put your clothes dry and secure in the bathrooms. We definatly recommend the hostel!

It's a very nice hostel! We liked the location, not in the touristic city centre. It's next to the metrostation! I was very clean and the staff was helpfull and friendly. They gave us a very good tip for a taparestaurant in the neighbourghood. Only negative thing: the walls are very thin, we could hear a baby criing all night long...

Originaly we booked a room for two nights and eventually we ended up staying for two weeks. It was so nice relaxing at the swimming pool or just at the bar. The staff is very friendly and helpfull! The rooms are comfortable and the food is delicious. We definitely recommend this place if you want to stay in a relaxing atmosphere. Thank you Lucie, Simone, the bartender and all the other people! We loved it!

Pro's: Good locations near metrostation and supermarkets. Helpfull staff. They gave us a upgrade from a dorm to a private double room because everything was fully booked. The Wifi is good. Comfortable rooms and big kitchen. Con's: Breakfast was poor. Just dry bread with thee and instant coffee. No marmalade or cheese or... The bed in the double room is very hard, it's like sleeping on a wooden bench. The showers are cold. But it's a new hostel with a lot of potential!

Thanks for visiting, we take your recommendations to improve, now our breakfast is better and we have verified that all the showers have hot water. with respect to the mattress are different preference. hope to see you again :)

Pro's: - Nice beds and blankets - Friendly staff: When we arrived we didn't get the room we booked on the phone, but the staff suggested to change to a much nicer private room instead for the same price if we didn't use the bathroom. - Central location Con's: - There is only hot water between 11am and 3 pm, before/after that it's warm-ish to very cold! - The internet only works properly on the ground floor.

We had a very good stay at Duke Hostel. We loved it very much. The free soup was nice, Dory suggested to cook more soup if it was necessary. He and is wife always tried to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The free bread and jam in the morning is always pleasant as a backpacker. The facilities are clean en we had a good bed in a spacious double room. When we were waiting to check in, we got some cookies to make our waiting more enjoyable. We definitely recommend this hostel!

23rd Jan 2014

We had a pleasant stay at Fox Inn. It has a lot of potential because it has a well equiped kitchen, nice movie selection, good showers ,excellent location and a friendly host. But there are a few downsides too. For example the bunkbeds aren't that good (noisy and less than average matressess). Also is it cold in all the rooms (also common areas). The heaters doesn't work untill late and it can be very chilly at the West Coast, even during the summer.

We stayed in a double room over there. The room had a theme - The Movie 'The Worlds fastest Indian', it was lovely! Sparky was a very good host, he did everything to make our stay enjoyable and relaxed! The bathroom was clean en the living room had a very cosy atmosphere with the stove.
