Boomerang Hostel & Apartments

We stayed in an apartment one floor below the reception which was very run-down like the rest of the building. The doors and windows did not latch or seal properly, there were bugs and mold in the bathroom, the toilet flush and the shower head were broken, the kitchen was a hotplate, microwave and a single light bulb. Apparently the hostel has a separate building of apartments down the road somewhere that seem to be rated very highly from other reviewers - too bad we didn't get to stay there.

We were upgraded to an apartment when we arrived, which was fabulous! We ended up with our own kitchen, private garden and the suite even had a washing machine in it. The building seemed very secure and we had everything we needed. The front desk staff were very helpful, especially Paola and the boys that worked night shift. Only wish we could have stayed longer :)

The apartment was fairly simple but suited our needs fine. Close to several tram stops, so pretty easy to get around. If you stay in the front apartment you will hear street noise for sure, people coming home from the bar at night etc. Overall was a good stay :)
