The Greenhouse

Arusha, Tanzania

The Greenhouse was a welcome and relaxing retreat in Arusha. The rooms were charming and comfortable, the included meals were delicious and local, and the proprietor Benson was incredibly helpful in telling us how to get around and what to visit in the area. The hostel also runs a full series of local treks, tours, and volunteer opportunities. Interactions with other guests also make it a good community. We would have loved to stay there longer.

Bob Marley House Sherif Hotel had good rooms and bathrooms, was in a very convenient location for exploring Luxor, and had staff will to help us with very part of our trip, from figuring out tour options and to booking transport back to the airport. Our host Maria had entertaining stories and good advice on how to see often overlooked or closed parts of temples, and the other guests created a good community to come home to. An excellent and relaxing home base in a stressful town.

Footprints Hostel

Singapore, Singapore

Footprints is a very good Hostel, with beautiful common spaces and bathrooms, clean, comfy rooms, and a nice roof terrace. The breakfast was pretty typical for Malaysia, but everything else was very good.
