Place is crowded even off-season, so expect waiting in a line for your checking in and out. The process is very thorough, but the staff makes sure everything is in order. They give you free beer or mineral water, and tea which is great. Rooms are cheap and clean, average looking hostel dorms (we stayed in a 6-bed). Free computers in the common room, a good looking bar next to that room, to. Very secure and big luggage store room. Showers and little kitchen were in order. Great location, too.
Easy to find due to the large sign that can be seen from the road or a bus station. Good location, a ten minute walk to the city center entrance. Cheep rooms, nice little kitchen downstairs and you can't beet the view to the terrace ;) Mattresses in "marriage-bed" rooms were made of sponge, but I found them comfortable enough. Bathrooms were great, except they need a counter to put your things on.
We thought we needed a code to enter. We just had to ring the bell downstairs. Took us time to figure that out. Girls at the reception were professional, helpful and not annoying. Booking, and be on your way. An average 10-bed dorm, lockers were OK, two toilets and a bathroom with two showers. There is a sign not to use up the hot water from boilers, which is helpful. Breakfast is not expensive, that's a great option, too. Very cheap and a great location. A big plus! Thank you!
George, the owner, was great. He sent me those SF instructions how to get to the hostel, enter it and complete the booking, although he was never there. My GF and I stayed for just one night in a two bed private, which had a TV - a nice surprise. Although it is not the best looking hostel (an apartment turned into a hostel?), the rooms are satisfying and the bathroom is big, although people tend to use the hot water from the boiler so we had only cold left. Close to Nepliget bus station.
