It was strange that there was no keys to lock the door, and it was uncomfortable to think people could just bust in at any time. Each floor has 2 showers but only one toilet (for about 8 people or so). There should be one outlet per bed. Breakfast was very nice and location 3 minutes away from Sultanahmet.
Great great place to stay at, free (great breakfast), amazing staff, treats you like family (and no they're not the creepy overbearing type). I watched the World Cup w them, they made popcorn and coffee (free of course). Hospitality at its best!!!!
Best breakfast, great facility, I met so many great people there! Bologna is not much of a touristy city so just enjoy and relax a little.
A little hard to find, but once you got there it was the best nights of sleep I had! Great host, he's not there all the time, which is OK, but he came by every day to make sure everything was clean, and there was abundant breakfast supplies (great free breakfast btw!) Location wasn't far from the center (about 0.5km), but in a very residential, quiet area away from the bustles of the touristy center (although Verona is never too touristy)
Located on "Strada Nuova" part of Genova, it's a great place to stay in Genova, which is the LEAST touristy city you'll encounter in Italy, but still has its own charm. The hostel was clean and the host was nice, I only wish there was free breakfast provided. Would stay here again if I return to Genova.
Great value! The hostel is located centrally right between the station (Santa Maria) and the center (Duomo), so even if you're traveling alone you can go out late at night to enjoy the atmosphere in the piazzas, then walk back -- it's close and very safe down Via Faenza. The facilities are beautiful with a great garden. Breakfast is not gourmet food, but there are so many choices, from the standard cereals and donuts, bread, eggs, sausage, to noodles and lasagna and tiramisu.
Excellent facility in a great location which is safe and beautiful, very clean, good bathroom/shower. Unfortunately I stayed very close to the front desk area and we could hear people talk outside at the receptionist area as late as 2-3 in the morning and as early as 6 in the morning, which means I didn't have the best sleep there. I suppose if you bring ear plugs you'll be fine but even those aren't soundproof. They should tell their guests at the reception to be quiet during the night.
So modern, clean and secure, extremely quiet. Location on Naschmarkt was perfect to grab food, very close to the metro as well. Internet always worked in the room, grocery store next door, and I love their locker technology. Wouldn't stay anywhere else if I return to Vienna in the future.
Excellent value for money, right at the center of town, takes 5 minutes to have an incredible view of the Danube. Takes 20 minutes to walk to the main attractions of Old Town Buda, or 5 minutes by metro (very very easy and efficient). The staff was great! The bathroom was so nice and huge, and there are 3 bathrooms in a complex, two with showers. We never had too wait to use the bathroom. Curtains should be added to the huge bathroom so people can use them simultaneously
