Casa di Antonella, Siena, Italy

It was such a great value for the money! It was very clean with a wonderful homemade breakfast that was included with the price. There was also a kitchen that we used to make dinner which was an added plus because eating out really does add up when you're traveling for weeks. I would definitely recommend this B&B and return again myself!

It was a less than average B&B that didn't have anything particular about it. It's right next to the train station and the staff are really friendly.

Affittacamere Tre Fre, La Spezia, Italy

Clean B&B right next to the train station with breakfast included in local cafés. It's also located in the center of La Spezia which is a small and idilic area with a lot of friendly restaurants. Manuela (the person who checks you in) was very very sweet and even let us borrow her hiking shoes!

Generator Venice, Venice, Italy

It was a great hostel - the second Generator hostel that I have stayed in. The lounge area was great and the breakfast was nice too for an extra price. Be aware though the the hostel (located on Giudecca) is not attached to main islands at all, and so the only way to get there is by ferry. We arrived on a day of a ferry strike so it was close to impossible to get to the hostel unless you want to be ripped off by a taxi boat.

A Casa di Giulia, Verona, Italy

I want to go back to Verona just to stay in this B&B! Giulia was absolutely helpful in giving us tips and her daughter Chiara was also very accommodating. They have a wonderful kitchen and lounge area with self-service breakfast included in the price. Another great thing was that there were bicycles you could use for free to see a lot of the city of Verona in minutes!
