Charles Bridge Economic Hostel

Nicest and most friendly staff we came across in three weeks of travel, helped you with anything you needed. Free coffee, tea, water, hot cocoa whenever you want. They even set us up with a great reasonable ride to the airport and refused to let us carry our bags up to our room. Location is almost on the Charles Bridge and centrally located to castles, restaurants, bars, clubs, and shops. Adorable rooms with comfortable beds and great bathroom facilities and even a full lounge/kitchen. LOVED IT

EastSeven Berlin Hostel

Very clean and quiet hostel, probably not for crazy partiers or young people trying to meet other travelers unless you do something like a bar crawl, which they do set up with other hostels. Not much of a lounge area and no real bar and was not close to any major bars or clubs. However, was easily the cleanest and most well-kept facilities we saw. Staff was helpful and very nice. Biggest complaint was that they charged 3 euros for a breakfast that consisted of coffee, one cereal, and toast.

Flying Pig Uptown

Awesome location near to local bars, coffee shops, and restaurants as well as tourist sites like the Heineken Brewery. Staff was very knowledgeable, fun, and willing to help. Smoke room and bar in the lounge were always full of other travelers, so was very easy to meet other people. Only problem was the stairs were like the ones in the Exorcist aka extremely steep and precarious, especially with bags. The elderly and weak, beware.

Hi, thanks for your review. As we have very traditional Dutch architecture we are unable to accommodate an elevator, but hope this didn't negatively affect your stay too much. We hope to see you again soon! - The Flying Pig Uptown

Awesome atmosphere with very friendly and outgoing staff, great hostel for meeting other travelers. Fun bar area and lounge. Location was slightly removed from the main drags, but the hostel was fun enough to make up for that. Tiny showers in our room (not sure if anybody over 5 foot 10 could actually fit in it) but beds were clean and comfortable.

Hostel was close to central areas, but in the financial district so got a little sketchy at night because it was not a residential area. Did not use keycard access for front door but otherwise, felt safe. Free breakfast was solid, staff was helpful.

Larger hostel. Squeakiest beds in the world and the rooms were rather small, but were clean and well-kept. Staff was helpful but not overly friendly. Hallway was VERY VERY green.

Small hostel, great for meeting people. Rooms were comfortable and well kept and staff was friendly. Only complaint was the lack of air conditioning in the rooms and inconsistently warm water for showers. Location was on point.
