The hostel is so crowded that you have to queue up for everything (to use the toilet, to use the kitchen, to find a seat to eat, etc). Internet is very expensive (5$ for 3h) and it doesn't work at all. Dorm mattresses were old and very uncomfortable. There is no power in the main dorm and no efforts were made to fix it. In the kitchen and in one of the bathrooms light bulbs were not working too. Swimming pool was a swamp. I do not recommend this place.

Very good hostel, great value for the money. Free internet. Do not pick the southern bedrooms because there is a noisy disco/bar that will keep you awake all night. Apart from this, great choice, much better than the famous jolly boys!

Hi there. Thank you very much for your great review. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us. Livingstone is a vibrant, lively town and sometimes the local night clubs can be a little noisy. But generally speaking, Fawlty Towers tends to be a lovely, relaxed oasis. We'll look into the noise issue. Thanks for the feedback on this matter. With best wishes, Elissa General Manager
