Amsterdam Hostel Leidseplein

Good location and very nice staff, but unfortunately, for the rest, it is one of the worst hostel we've stayed. The bathroom was always dirty. They have a cat, and don't advertise it, which is very bad if you are allergic. The breakfast is very poor: untoasted bread with peanut butter. The hostel is very noisy.

It is more a hotel with dorms than a hotel, so it might be quite difficult to meet people - no hostel atmosphere. When we were there, there was a lot of kids and families. It is very clean, very nice staff. Well located, very good breakfast. There is no kitchen or washing machines, and you can't bring your own food or drinks - very annoying for a hostel.

In general, it is a good hostel. Very clean, very good kitchen. When we were there, it was super calm - no atmosphere at all. It is also quite far from the city center. Also, only 2 toilets so it can mean a wait...

Eeuh, far from the citycenter, 1,2 km, 15 min walk, 2 tram/busstops, velobikes,... Eeuhm, only 2 toilets!? Anyway, thanks for liking us in general! We re also proud of our cleanliness and our kitchen! Xb

Very good hostel. Quite clean. Curtain, locker, plug and light with each bed which is very nice. Negative points would be no wi-fi in the rooms, no kitchen, no washing machines. The key to our room did not work so anybody with the key of the building could enter...

Ok hostel. Absolutely no atmosphere, since no commune space, and staff not promotion anything. No locker, very tiny kitchen. Not so clean, and no ladder to climb on the upper bed, making it very weird. Very good breakfast.

Yes Lisbon and Yes Porto (you get 10% if you book the 2nd one with them) are by far the best hostels I stayed. Each bed get a curtain, a light, a plug. The atmosphere is very good, the staff is amazing. It is always very clean. The dinners are very good.

Great hostel! Very nice staff. Good idea to have the free dinners instead of free breakfast as it makes it easy and fun to meet new people. We had a very good time there! The only issue is the location - it is close to a metro station, but far to the main principal attractions.

Good hostel in general. When we were there, the room really smelled like cigarette so it was not fun to be in the room. The staff is ok. The kitchen is good. The beds are not super comfortable.

I highly recommend this hostel, clearly one of the best we've been. It is very well located, at walking distance from the main attractions as well as supermarket, restaurants and bars. The hostel is very beautiful, everything is new and always clean, and the terrasse is amazing. Juan, the owner, takes really good care of it, and is always there to help the guest. Other good points: there is a fridge in every room, and the 10 beds dorms are separated into 2 smaller rooms of 6 and 4 beds.

Good hostel for the price. The staff is really kind. However, it was very dirty and many showers were broken, ans there was no soap in the toilet.

Good hostel. The staff is really nice and always helpful. However, the staff should keep track of which beds are used, be because there was some problems.
