The owner is lovely and genuinely very helpful. He took us to have the oil changed in our motorbikes, gave us some of his homemade (apparently guaranteed head-ache free) wine to try and posted a card for me when I didn't have time to find the post office. It is a little was out of town, but no more than a 10 minute walk, and most of the "sights" in dalat are spread out or out of town anyway, so it's not a big issue!
Lovely hotel with lovely staff. We had a room without a window, but that didn't matter, the air con worked fine, and there was a balcony just down the corridor. The staff we're really helpful and friendly, even after we had to move to another hotel they let us park our bikes outside and offered to call a doctor when we were sick. We used their laundry service and their visa extension service, both were great. Thoroughly recommend when in nha trang!
Room wasn't cleaned on our 2nd night. tv worked only sporadically, cut out in the middle of a film then didn't work for several hours. Maintenance work going on right outside our window, hammering started at6:30am! We had to call reception at 5:30pm and ask them to give it a rest for an hour so we could have a nap! The balcony that was outside our window is public, so I awoke at 1am to find a Vietnamese man stood right outside! So Curtains closed at all times & sea view completely wasted.
Great hostel! We had a private room, and it was as good as any budget hotel we've stayed in. Not centrally located but right next to the metro station so it's very easy to get to the sights. Staff we're helpful and friendly, booked our train tickets to Guilin when we couldn't get them at the station. Facilities and food are both great. Would definitely recommend.
Great hostel, great location. We did the terracotta warriors tour and it was really good, the guide was really friendly and helpful, and the place she took us for lunch was delicious and cheap. The hostel food and drinks we're cheap but good, recommend the almond milk! Dorms were clean, beds comfy.
