Brilliant hostel! I've been to a couple of hostels in Marrakech and Rouge wins, hands down. The staff are absolutely lovely and always helpful. Very clean, plenty of bathrooms and an awesome place to meet other travellers.
BED BUGS. The staff have no clue how to get rid of them so don’t get your hopes up. The staff reaction was unacceptable - they laughed, called me stupid and argued that it wasn’t bed bugs despite the evidence (other hostellers actually got a photo of one) , one manager was apologetic but told me that there were only bed bugs on the terrace (this is not a new problem). I was bitten in my dorm. Ignoring that, the hostel is kind of boring. Better places to stay in the city for the same price.
Pretty good as far as chain hostels go. Impersonal, but good for a comfortable sleep and decent shower.
Absolutely wicked spot. Brilliant for meeting other travellers, very secure and clean. A very comfy nights sleep.
Pretty average for meeting people, weird dull vibe. No lockers in the dorms, but there are free lockers at reception. Great location near all the cool restaurants and bars in Montmarte.
Brilliantly set up and comfortable dorms (with tons of power points which is a nice change for a hostel). Clean and handy communal bathrooms. Ideal location for the old city, and the downstairs bar has a minty happy hour. Winner.
Convenient for the train locale, but a wee bit of a hike to the beach and old city. The AC in dorms is always stupidly contentious, and the bathrooms have zero air so get stinky hot. The hostel does put on neat social events every night in their downstairs dungeon, which makes meeting other hostellers easier. Not much character to the place, but its reasonably cheap.
Best and kindest staff ever! Only ended up coming to this hostel and sleeping, but the bathrooms are clean, the shared dorms are huge, and the place had character - imagine it's a fun spot and I'd happily stay again.
Sweet spot if you want to get away from rowdy hostels. Not somewhere for solo travellers to stay if you want to meet others. Accommodating staff and super clean facilities.
No (free) personal lockers in the dorms, but the rooms are clean and spacious. Plenty of bathrooms, and a neat communal kitchen, which is a good spot to meet other travellers.
The character and charm of this place eclipse any possible faults. An amazing place to chill out and experience local beachside Spain.
An awesome building, and gorgeous dorms, well stoked kitchens and super good bathrooms. Could do with personal lockers in the dorms, but the trust system seems to work here.
Pricey, (and I had to move every single night because of overbooking) but the communal spaces are good for meeting other travellers, the dorms are clean and quiet, and the bathrooms are plentiful and clean.
All kinds of awesome. Bright and quiet dorms, nice kitchen and bathroom, brilliant staff and breakfast. Excellent location for the ferry and bike rental and island supermarket and bars.
An excellent place to chill out in an awesome landscape, tho can be a wee bit loud at night if you want to sleep rather than checking out the local bars. The trust system does work here, but could do with some personal lockers just in case.
Really neat place to chill, close to the village and to a nice traditional pub. Quiet, clean dorms. No lockers in the dorms but otherwise awesome facilities and fantastic common areas. Super lovely staff.
Not wowed. A hostel rather lacking character (and full of old drunk men) but there aren't many other options in Ennis (seriously, skip Ennis if you can - not much to see here). But the staff were nice enough and the bathrooms were clean.
Wasn't wowed, particularly considering how well this place is rated. Awesome location (but most of the Dublin hostels are in the same area) for partying and reasonably priced. The bed allocation system is rubbish and leads to continuous middle-of-the-night mix ups, confused staff and upset travellers. The dorms are cramped (and thusly stinky), but clean. People only seem to hang out in the common room to watch movies, so it's not the best place to meet others and the best events (walking tour an
Weird hostel and ridiculously expensive - but there don't seem to be other cheaper options in Boston. The atmosphere here is dull. Possibly the least fun hostel I've stayed in, but the space is kept clean and the beds are comfy.
Fun hostel in a good location. Bit lacking on toilets and having six bunk beds tied together meant very little and very interrupted sleeping, but the staff are lovely and helpful.
A neat, chill hostel. Supremely clean with very helpful friendly staff. Bit pricey, and the rooms have absolutely no ventilation, which means that those mixed dorms get pretty rank very quickly. Also a bit lacking in the number of toilets and showers available.
An awesome, clean, friendly and sociable hostel.
An absolutely wicked hostel. The best deal in Vegas for a fantastic social time. Nice, clean, quiet dorm rooms and common areas.
The check in process is bizarre, but that's sorted in the first ten minutes of your stay so doesn't matter. This is fantastically cheap for a nice bed, real sheets, clean bathrooms, and use of a kitchen. Not the best common area or good if you're looking for a very rowdy social time; but an awesomely quiet and secure place to sleep.
Fantastic facilities. Cute dorms, comfy beds, plenty of (nice) bathrooms available, two kitchens. Friendly, helpful staff and fun organised group activities. Wish we could have stayed longer.
While some staff are obviously better than others, most didn't seem to have much of a clue about the hostel facilities or city so weren't particularly helpful and check in was a mission. The dorm rooms are cosy with super squeaky bunk beds, but fine. There aren't personal lockers available in the rooms (but there are some available two floors down) and with only two toilets per floor between all the dorm rooms there is often quite a wait. Handy having a kitchen.
Awesome place with very friendly staff and organised hostel activities every day. Really nice place to stay.
A very very awesome hostel. Nice dorm rooms and bathrooms are fine. Excellent location near the city park and right next to the trolley line to get into town. Fantastic shared areas and a great atmosphere for meeting other travellers. Decent breakfasts as well!
Quite a distance from central Miami but if you're looking to get out of the city and check out the Everglades this place is wicked as. The staff are excellent, the rooms are very nice and comfy, and the common area (with kitchen and pancakes!) is a lovely chill area. Highly recommend joining an Everglade day tour with the group associated with the hostel - fantastic way to see and learn about the area.
This place is WICKED. Stoked we found it and would very happily go back. The bungalows advertised on Hostelworld are only a small part of the facilities. The area is awesome for short hikes, and there are tons of hammocks and quiet areas if you just want to chill out. There is a lovely community of people that stay and regularly visit, who are all very welcoming and friendly. Awesome.
Better than I thought it would be - fantastic for someone on a budget. Very very comfy beds and super clean.
Clean beds and bathrooms, nice quiet sleeping areas and fantastic common areas - great for meeting and hanging out with other travellers. Awesome wall art and an affordable cooked breakfast. Convenient transport to downtown with the trolley pretty much door-to-door.
Really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were supremely friendly, very helpful and always available. Clean beds, sheets, bathrooms - although cracking a window in the dorms every now and then would help and the limited bathrooms are a bit restrictive. Excellent common areas - great for meeting and hanging out with fellow travellers. Great out-of-city location, bit of a pain getting downtown at night.
Fantastic friendly hostel, lovely helpful staff, really excellent common areas and communal meals. Hostel organised activities are a great way to see everything and have an awesome time in San Diego. Spent way too much time hogging the pool table. Perfect location for the zoo, bit of a mission getting downtown.
Cheapest place we could find - so pretty much as expected. Bit lacking in bathrooms and not terribly clean - but absolutely fine if you're just passing through. Bit of a hike from the metro.
Good value and a comfortable quiet place to sleep. No great areas for hanging out and quiet lacking in atmosphere, but I'd go back, for sure. Easy to get around with the monorail close by.
