The hostel could not have a better location in Edinburgh and proved a brilliant base for visiting the fringe festival. All of the staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. The hostel itself has a great communal kitchen for cooking up some cheap food if your on a budget as well as a really good common living area.
I only stayed for a night, but straight away saw that the staff were great by the service at reception. The place had a very good party atmosphere on the ground floor at night, yet the noise of the street was removed enough to get a good nights sleep if that's what you require. The Euro-Youth Hostel is located centrally right near the train station making it perfect for travel around the city as well as for early departures/ late arrival into Munich (which is what I needed).
An amazing hostel with a respectful festival atmosphere. The city centre is incredibly easy to reach by tram with an all day, all night service which lives up to German stereotyped punctuality. Staff are brilliant and despite just being a tent based mini village, The Tent delivers everything you need.
A nice hostel. Staff were brilliant, stayed late to wait for me when I was arriving late due to train troubles, and still very friendly. There were a lot of kids, but that can happen in youth hostels so to be expected. There was a used dirty towel on the floor in the bathroom despite me being the only guest in that room which was interesting. The building itself was cool and facilities were great. A nice base to explore the old town.
Had a brilliant time at Lotte Hostel. The staff were brilliant ,the hostel had a great homely atmosphere and the location was amazing.
Steffi's is in a great location near the train station and is within easy access of the old town. Which is where most tourist attractions and a good amount of bars and restaurants are based. The hostel itself has a friendly atmosphere and providers for all backpacker needs.
The generator Hostel was brilliant. The scale of the building and the execution of sleeping space is slightly clinical, but it delivers everything you could want for a short stay in a great city. The staff were excellent, approachable and friendly from the outset and were great for providing any tips or information needed. Apart from the staff the greatest asset of the Generator is the large social space on the ground floor which includes a bar and restaurant.
A nice hostel in a very good location in Aarhus. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was central. The hostel itself lacked a bit in atmosphere, however there was a large common room and outside area which was pleasant enough.
Really loved this hostel. Best common area I've seen in a hostel, experienced as soon as you enter, great for meeting people and relaxing . Staff were great, which is always is a defining point with the best hostels. Whole place has a great atmosphere.
Really nice hostel with good shared facilities.
A bit business like for a hostel, very minimalist, but still a good base for exploring a great city with all the necessary facilities delivered to a good standard (showers, communal kitchen, comfy beds and wifi). Quite hard to get a locker though, didn't seem to be enough. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Just stay here!
