HI Praia do Forte Hostel

Praia do Forte, Brazil
86%

Spent a lovely two nights here. Staff were good, rooms were spacious and clean, good bathrooms. Breakfast was average and there was only 1 socket in the room but other than that all fine. Great location only 5 minutes from the beach and right near to the main street in Praia do Forte. I thought it had a pool - but it's just access to the natural pools on the beach not a swimming pool. All in all a nice stay! :)

The best things about this hostel: great location right near pelhourino´s main square,& the bar right nxt door (the guy with the afro is great). Unfotunately there is not much else thats outstadning about this place, breakfast is basic, showers & toilets are average, cockroach on the floor!! staff arent particulary helpful, rooms were so hot! no air con just a fan that didnt move & barely did anything, on our last night the roof started leaking. this hostel is for sale and i think i know why!

Amazing hostel full of backpackers! Great vibe as soon as you walk in, staff are extremly welcoming, rooms are big & ensuite showers nice and clean. Light breakfast & great bar, plenty of entertainmetn in the evenings (day tours too but i didnt go on them as quite pricey), great location right in centre of BA. If you´re looking for authentic buenos aires then maybe dont go here, but for travellers who are up for a laugh, want to meet likeminded people this is the place! Thank you Milhouse!!

Where do i start, the staff were netiher helpful nor friendly. Only 1/2 the lockers in the room closed, the beds shook loads & didnt have ladders so was very uncomfortable getting up to top bunk, & the room wasnt very clean. also only had a small fan (useless). Kitchen was small & poorly stocked, there were quite a few toilets & showers but pretty average. Wifi didn´t work, satff said it would be fixed in an hour but it never was fixed, spoke to others & it hadnt worked all week. cheap but poor

La Tosca Hostel

Puerto Madryn, Argentina

Staff were really friendly and seemed to know everyone by name. Really helpful with information about the city and local excursions too, and great prices! Dorms were a bit dark but there was plenty of locker space and the bathrooms were clean. The bunks are really high, bit of a struggle getting up and down them. All in all a great stay, thanks La Tosca!

Rancho Grande Hostel

El Chalten, Argentina

Rancho Grande is a great hostel to stay in. The staff are friendly and it´s located right by the start of all the major trails in the El Chalten area. Just 10 minutes walk from the bus stop and close to many restaurants, cafes anda few bars. Staff were very helpful and atmosphere was pleasant. Kitchen is small but has relatively good appliances and equipment available. Rooms are spacious and clean, and shared bathrooms are in relatively good state. Thanks for a memorable stay!

This was the first hostel I stayed in during my time in Argentina, and what a one to set the bar! The rooms were extremely clean & spacious and had comfortable beds. Greaty location just 5 minutes walk from the town centre & 10 minutes from the bus station. The staff were friendly & helpful , providing lots of information on tours offered. I booked the day trip to perito moreno glacier through them & it was excellent! Thank you for a great stay :)
