Staff are very friendly and helpful, location is close to all the main sights in the city with options for food nearby, the dorm room was fairly big with good lockers for valuables. The en suite was also a good size but had a bad smell to it and the water didn't drain away very well. Breakfast is included but is basic. Very good option to stay while in Hanoi.

Best hostel I've stayed at in a long time! The staff are friendly and helpful. The beds are comfortable, each with their own light and power outlet and a secure locker for each guest, a TV in the room, and a clean en suite with hot water. Tea, coffee and fruit available free all day, and the breakfast options are vast and tasty. The en suite had a bad smell at times due to the drainage system, and the noise from the kitchen and breakfast area travels to the ground floor dorm which can wake you up

The location and price are good, but the mould on the walls of the room is horrendous, and that it's on the sheets and bed linen is even worse. The room was dirty, as were the bathrooms, with only one having hot water. The little girls (9/10 years) seem to run the place, despite that they should be in school (and they aren't interested in learning English - the purpose of this place). The trek I booked here was also lacking: no village visit, no waterfall and few good views. Not what was sold

After a very long journey, walking into this hostel was just what I needed. The staff are so helpful and welcoming, and nothing is too much trouble for them. The rooms are spotless, spacious, with good air conditioning, secure lockers and a clean en suite bathroom. The room was cleaned daily with new towels provided. The breakfast is a great inclusion and is very tasty - just what you need for a day exploring the city. I can't recommend this hostel and the family highly enough.

The staff here are the loveliest people and, although their English is limited, will go out of their way to help you. The hostel is spotlessly clean and in a great location, though is a 15-20 minute walk from the beach there are plenty of shops, cafes, restaurants, bars and food stalls in the immediate vicinity. This isn't a 'party' hostel, but the people staying here are generally friendly and approachable.
