Smart Russell Square

Pros: Excellent location, right in front of the British Museum and walking distance to Covent Garden and Picadilly Circus. Very cheap. Good beds. Helpful staff. Cons: The hostel was under construction and the guys in my dorm room were presumably the workers, it was very awkward. Also wifi only works in the ground floor. Lots of kids probably on a fieldtrip. Not the best atmosphere. Suggestions: personal reading lights on each bed maybe?

Perfect location, 3min walking distance from the bus/train station. The bar downstairs is the coolest bar I've ever seen. Nice breakfast. I loved this place except few minor downsides: 1. Wifi only works in the bar, 2. The bar downstairs is occupied by local people at night so the travelers were cramped up in the small space behind the front desk to use the wifi at night. Very awkward, 3. The shower was ice cold way too often.

This isn't really a hostel. I can't explain it, it has a very odd atmosphere. The rooms and bathrooms looked very old and they have that "old place" smell going on. There were very few travelers around, most of the people here looked like they lived here for a long time. Not the ideal place to meet people. But the staffs are friendly and it's probably the best bargain in London, considering that TWO meals are included.

A little expensive but worth the money. The shared bathroom was very impressive and well managed (might be a bit untidy in the morning) The location is perfect, walking distance from Gare Cornavin and lots of restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Definitely not a partying hostel just so you know

Brussels Hello Hostel

Nice place to stay at Brussels at a reasonable price. The wifi works just fine. The bathroom and the beds are all clean and comfy. Breakfast is nothing flashy, cereals and toasts and beverage. The common room/bar is a great place with awesome designs. If you don't like taking the metro, the location might be a downside for you but if you don't mind it shouldn't be a problem. By the way the female dorm is at a different building across the street, keep that in mind!
