La Guaca Hostel

We stayed 4 nights in the hostel and we liked it. It was pleasant to stay there : nice and meticulous decoration, nice activities organized (football match, drawing classes, party in the bars), nice staff, Pau is very involved in the hostel life. The big BBQ on sunday is delicious. And the swimming pool is very pleasant to cool off. The only negative point will be that it was sometimes too hot in the rooms. Even with that it worth it.

Playa del Ritmo

Nice and helpful staff, chillout location by a quiet beach, and a beach bar! The bathrooms were not very clean and smelly. the separations were kind of blurry glass/plastic, you would see the silhouette of the person peeing next to you, disturbing :p at least they were not gender mixed - the dorms were big and with lockers. the bad things were that the beds were very shacky, the mattresses sunk down and because of the metallic roof, it was very hot! despite the two fans

the hostel must be much better during the summer. In fact everything is open and not heated, so we couldn't enjoy the common area without freezing. At least they had a heater in the room. So I recommend you to stay there during the summer because it seems to be very nice during this period : the location is good next to the harbor, the bus station and the historical center. It's also clean, there is a terrace where you can enjoy the sun and line your clothes : . For the price, it worths it.

We only stayed there one night. The hostel was good. The common area was nice with big couches to chill out. Otherwise the dorms and bathrooms were basic but yet clean.

Big hostel, private bathrooms in the dorms - which we could lock. Wifi everywhere. The commom are was comfy, with a good view over the lake. The staff was very nice and helpful. the only thing to improve in the cleanliness of the kitchen: the breakfast also could be better.

The hostel is correct, it doesn´t have any charm ; you´re there to sleep. The bathrooms was tiny. The breakfast was not particularly good. Besides that, the staff is nice and welcomimg, the place very safe with lockable rooms and a fence.

Very nice hostel : very welcomimg owner, the common area was cosy with a fireplace. the rooms were simple but yet clean and spacious, the same about the bathrooms - with hair dryer, a big kitchen. But the breakfast is to improve. We recommend it

We stayed there few nights and we enjoyed it! We felt like at home:Leo and Sylvia were very nice, welcoming and helpful: The breakfast was made with a lot of care and it was very good ! The hostel is cosy and well located, it is also very clean: It was great to stay there. Leo was lovely, he organised a "game of thrones" night, but when the episode started the tv didn't work so he left to his place to bring his own tv ! Go there ! Clarisse y Magali

Good hostel: helpful staff, good dorms with comfy mattresses, nearby bars, grocery store and the bus station. We really liked their BBQ nights with tasty meats and salads. The bathroom of the dorm is to improve, both the toilets and showers.

A good hostel, very nice and helpful staff - besides one person who welcomed us at our early check-in (6 am), we´ve announced it but yet he said we had to wait until 2pm to got our room - still other beds were free, but our tired faces did not convince him... all that to end up with our room not ready at 2pm! His lovely colleague let us enter another dorm and was super sociable, nice and helpful : let us do our laundry, indicated us good leisure spots. The breakfast was very good and diversified

Paraty Beach Hostel

The hostel is near the beach and few minutes from the center, got Wifi and the staff is nice and helpful. We booked a 16-bed dorm but ended up in a 20-bed one.Very hot at night and of course it was tiny. Only two bathrooms for the dorm, and there were relatively clean and without ventilation so with a lot of condensation. The kitchen was also very small and nopt a lot of ustensils. Staying in the 6-bed dorm is a better option, they have a private bathroom and more space!
