Great family operated hostel which feels like being at home. You have to take your boots off at the door, but the mother and daughter who run the place make sure you are comfortable and happy. It's kept spotless, has good bathrooms, and breakfast is included (although it's very basic). The location is in a great spot in the middle of town, and they will set you up with any of the great tours in Ushuaia. Highly recommend!
One of the only places open in the heart of the winter season, but a gem nonetheless. Very reasonable price for a bed and has a great atmosphere. An eclectic mix of people, plus a huge dining area (where you can buy lunch and dinner or eat and drink your own stuff), a huge St Bernard lounging around, and helpful staff all makes for a great stay at the foot of the amazing mountains in El Chalten.
A very nice hostel with a rustic atmosphere that feels perfect for southern Patagonia. It´s a quiter place, so if you´re looking to party you can probably find rowdier hostels, but if you´re looking for clean, warm beds, a really convenient location, and very friendly and helpful staff this is the place. Breakfast is included and they have a built in restaurant where you can buy lunch and dinner if you want. The staff help you book tours to the glaciers and the shuttle to the airport.
This hostel was the most fun of any I stayed at during my trip through Brazil and Argentina. The staff are young, very friendly, and more than happy to help you have a good time in Iguazu. The hostel has computers for public use, a Playstation, and a nice lounging area. But its the outside patio that makes the difference, with a dart board, lounge chairs, a pool, and a built in bar that´s open every night and serves great caipirinhas for surprisingly reasonable prices. Highly recommended!
Nice hostel with very good staff. They spoke some English and were willing to help us decide when and how to see the sights of Curitiba. They also provided transportation (for a small fee) to several of our destinations, including the airport. The location is good, a short walk from the Niedemeyer Museum as well as the historic center with some of the bars. The hostel had a pool table, a computer for public use, and good clean beds. But the showers did not have great hot water.
Great location near the subway and not far from the city center or the beaches. Didn't have great bathrooms but beds were fine and the staff were nice and provided a decent breakfast in the morning.
