Marcilia Beach Bungalows

We stayed in the beach bungalow right on the beach, it's basically in the sand dunes. It's the perfect escape from the circus in Mancora. The owners really take care of you, breakfast is great and they will cook for you. Would have liked to stay longer!

Fun hostel, very close walk to the action in Moraflores. Only downside is the showers, they only had a curtain. Staff were very helpful.

We had massive private room with bathroom. But it was next to the roadside, so many motos'! Staff seemed a quite disinterested.

Great bar and loads of places to chill out. Included dune buggy and sandboarding, which was excellent. The wine tour was very short.

Stayed for 2 nights and that was enough, this is a serious party hostel and we are getting old. Best bunk beds in South America!

This is a hotel, it lacks common areas so it's very hard to meet others. Otherwise it's basic and does the job.

Good value hotel, travel agent next to reception is very handy. We really enjoyed the breakfast.

Ended up staying an extra 2 nights. The hostel is perfect for a town like Pipa, great hammocks to chill out in, communal areas were superb, we were constantly meeting others. Very short walk into town, 5-10mins to the beach.

What can I say, one of the top hostels in South America. There is always something happening, the staff make sure of it. Very social atmosphere based around a very cosy bar. Make sure you sign up for the BBQ, unreal!

Short walk from bus station and 10mins walk from centre of town. Chilled out vibe. Showers a bit grubby but no big deal.

Only there for one night. Girls in the reception were nice. But those floorboards are loud.
