Sleep in Heaven

Sleep In Heaven was a nice place to stay. It had a friendly atmosphere and it was easy to meet people. The location wasn't great; not only was it somewhat far from the city center and main attractions, but the neighborhood it was in felt desolate and seedy. I couldn't quite pinpoint it, but it gave me the creeps. They also didn't have a kitchen, which is a big inconvenience considering Copenhagen is so expensive and cooking your own meals saves a lot of money! Overall not bad, but not the best.

This place was very cozy and friendly! With a large common room, it was easy to meet other travelers. We really enjoyed our stay here. One major downside: we had bedbugs in our room! However, the staff cleaned the room thoroughly, and the problem was resolved. Would recommend!

It is important that you told us! So we took action right away and prevent that the bugs spread. A exterminator did the rest. I wonder who brought them in. Basically we figured that we should be the ones who rate the cleanliness of our guests not the other way around… because without guests we are the cleanest Hostel in the world ;)

Fusion was a really trendy place. It was clean and cool and had a great bar, shishas and overall great facilities. However, it felt more like a hotel and wasn't really catered to backpackers. The staff was impersonal and it was difficult to meet other travelers because the place was so big and felt corporate. The bathrooms in the rooms were also pretty dirty. Overall, a cool place, but not the best if you're looking for a more personal and social experience.

Wombats was a nice place! It was very clean, secure and had great facilities. It was also located in a great area, near not only the Naschmarkt but also in walking distance to the major sites! The only downside is that it was really big and felt too corporate. It wasn't the best place to meet people, and it wasn't as cosy and welcoming as some other hostels.

Staying at Instant was some of the most fun nights of my life! The atmosphere was fun and social and the staff was so nice and helpful. Everyone staying there was awesome as well. There was always something interesting going on. If you like to have fun, party and hang out with awesome people/staff this is the hostel for you! Greatest experience ever!!

The biggest plus about this place was the staff. They were so friendly. The minute we stepped in they offered us water and champagne and made us feel very welcome! They also had free cocktail and pasta parties which were fun! However, the place was kind of dirty and really hot, as there was no air conditioning, but that's pretty typical of Europe. There also weren't enough lockers for everyone staying there.

This hostel was very good! The location was great. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were big. There were also ensuite bathrooms, which was super nice. Would recommend!

This was a decent hostel. It didn't have a great atmosphere, as it wasn't very social, and it was a little overpriced (but what isn't in Paris?), but it was fairly clean and comfortable and it had ensuite bathrooms, which was a plus! The only complaint I have is about security. There were no lockers! As backpackers, your bag is your life and lockers should be a necessity in any hostel. I never felt in danger of being robbed, but it would have been nice to have the extra peace of mind.

This place had a very good vibe! The staff was nice and it was small and cozy. The seeing shop theme was super cool. Would recommend!

Living Cat's Hostel

This place was a mediocre place to lay your head...but that's about all it was. The vibe wasn't very social, it didn't feel very clean and the atmosphere was strange. Something about the "mad theme" didn't make the place very warm or trendy. Also- we were supposed to stay at their sister hostel, Cat's, but they moved us here without any notice. Not a huge deal--but it would have been nice to have a head's up. Not the worst place you could stay, but definitely not the best.

Home Lisbon Hostel

Home Lisbon Hostel is the best! It's safe, clean and comfortable. The staff are some of the friendliest people you will ever meet! But the best part are the home cooked meals by mamma: only 10€ for authentic, delicious food and all you can drink wine. It has a very social vibe, but you can also get a quiet night's sleep if you want to stay in. Staying here was a great experience! I can't imagine how it could have been more perfect! Stay here!
