Milhouse Avenue

Buenos Aires, Argentina

The best hostel I've ever been to. Very big with awesome staff, amazing atmosphere most nights with a wicked cocktails bar / happy hour, lots of partying most nights yet they manage to keep rooms clean and as long as you're not near the ground floor I never had any trouble sleeping or with anything really. Average breakfast but I found that to be the case with most hostels anyway - who cares free food Best place to have a good time at night AND activities during the day. Very nice place; do it

Mango Chill

Puerto Iguazu, Argentina

Perfect place really. Pools, BBQ dinner options, 20sec walk to the bus stop that takes and returns you straight to the falls, clean rooms daily, nice staff who don't mind helping, chilled music playing all the time yet party can happen at night with no fuss made. Stay here if you want to stay on the Argentinian side!

Lapa Hostel

Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

Superb for partying and weekend stays as the location puts you right in the Lapa strip area where it's a huge party on a Friday, Saturday and sometimes Sunday night. Otherwise the place was very expensive (as every other place was) during the world cup but quality definitely didn't seem to equal to the price they inflated it to. Tour planned through hostel fell through the first time but eventually worked out. Wanna party? Stay for the weekend = amazing.

Pura Vida Hostel Rio de Janeiro

Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

Awesome place! Really enjoyed my stay there. Staff are very helpful and there are many activities you can book through the hostel. Location is incredible - 5 min walk to copacabana and close to Ipenama's shores too, next to supermarket, restaurants, bus stop. Was kept clean through the busy world cup period which was great. Rooms are tidy. Either chill on the hammock on the balcony or drink away at the bar with an awesome barman! Highly recommend local favela tour and the hostel in general. A++

Hostel7 Brasilia

Brasilia, Brazil

Great place to stay! Which you'd hope for as there are hardly any other options of hostels in Brasilia anyway. Very well maintained even during the really busy world cup period. Good breakfast, great staff, showers were also good. Many different taxi drivers found the address to the place quite difficult to find but they end up getting it in the end so no real issues there. Thanks for the great times :)
