The Good: Good place for the price. Location is excellent and very easy to find. The AC works (important in the summer). If you have a car, the beaches at Zacharo are close too! The Bad: the wifi is spotty and unreliable, the lift door was not working right and my daughter got stuck in there for a few minutes causing a mild panic moment, the €5 breakfast is a complete joke- DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THE BREAKFAST! Cold/weak coffee, tiny fruit place, tiny juice, bread & jam. That's it! Fail!

This place is a bit of a walk from the center but a great value. I think it's student dorms. Nice, clean rooms.

This place is great! Tom is an absolute treasure trove of local knowledge and insight- you don't even have to ask, he's just happy to tell you all about the area and it's wonderful features. The grounds/garden are a great place to chill after a busy day and though it's a bit of a distance from Bled, don't let that put you off. Excellent value for money! My daughter and I LOVED this place!

This is one of the best "cheap" places to stay in Venice. It's essentially the dorms of a Catholic theological seminary/college being rented out in the summer. There's no a/c and that's a downside in Italy in the summer. The location is good near the casino and Fondemente Actv stops and you get the real benefit of staying IN Venice at an affordable rate rather that paying a ton or commuting to Mestre for a cheaper accommodation. I have stayed here twice (Summer 2014 & Summer 2016)- good

This place is basically a hotel- not a party hostel- so keep that in mind. It was perfect for me (male age 45) and my daughter (female age 16) on our Rome stop on a Grand Tour through Europe. Clean rooms, friendly staff, very good location, great price! And working Air Conditioning (a must in the Roman summer heat)

Affordable little hotel near 2 different metro stations and close to Gare du Nord (€10 cab ride or walkable from the metro). No A/C but big opening windows and acceptable wi-fi. Very courteous and helpful staff. I would stay here again!
