Istanbul Hostel

Istanbul, Turkey

Friendly staff, amazing location. No security at all in the 9 bed room - the door to the room leads into the main lobby of the hostel, and doesn't lock. There's a small locker that you need to provide your own lock for. Breakfast was small but decent - a hard boiled egg, bread and jam, tea/coffee, olives, cucumber, and tomato.

Urbany Hostel BCN GO!

Barcelona, Spain

Each bed has a locker underneath that opens with your card key (which also opens the door to your floor, and the door to your room). There's a power outlet beside your pillow that accepts US/Canadian plugs as well as EU ones, along with a USB port that you can use for charging, and an LED reading light. Wifi is decent, although you had to 'Like' the hostel's page on Facebook before you could use the internet, which was annoying.
