SStayed only one night, clean, large private room with balcony. Easy to meet people. I thought the food at the Saturday bbq was a little expensive. Would stay here again.

We didn't want to leave. A brilliant place right on the beach. We ate all our meals here, they were delicious. Excellent staff, couldn't recommend highly enough. Be prepared to extend your stay!

Excellent WiFi, breakfast was OK, good location, rooms clean, we booked the cu Chi tunnels and one day Mekong Delta tour through their tour desk. Both good value for money. Booked our bus to cambodia easily here too.

Location was good, room was reasonable for it's price. Breakfast is OK. They allowed us to check in at 6am at no extra charge. Best bit of this hostel is the staff, very friendly and helpful! We booked our halon bay tour here and paid less than others on the same boat. Booked our open bus tickets here with ease, bus took a lot longer than we were told but I guess this is the fault of the bus company, not the hotel.

Large, spacious double room, best bathroom in China! Excellent location, able to walk to lots of sights and the main street with restaurants and market etc. A shame there isn't much of a bar area, only next to reception, buytbut there's a pool table and Wii. Would recommend.

Helpful staff, booking train tickets for us. We did the panda trip which was good, just entrance fee and transport but got you there early to see feeding. Twin room was good.

This hostel has the potential to be so much better. The staff are some of the friendliest and most helpful we have come across in 5 months of travelling. The double room was largelarge and spacious. The location was good, we were able to walk to everything we wanted and close to the bus stop. BUT the bathrooms need work, they were in a pretty bad condition most of the time. They were smelly and dirty and not very pleasant to use. It's a real shame because the staff were so very friendly!

Owner Comment (Hide)
Thank you for speaking highly of the good location and friendly staff, we felt happy and honored , and will insist on these forever. And at the same time, we are so sorry for the inconvience about the smell bathroom.we have checked and will try our best to solve the problems as soon as possible. We are sinerely hoping you can come next time and have a better experience than before. We sincerely give you the best wishes and greetings...

The location is excellent, walking distance to lots of sights and close to the metro. Lots of amenities around. Staff very helpful, one lady wrote down what train tickets we wanted to buy making it very easy at the ticket office! We stayed in a 2 bed dorm, it was right next to the bathroom, which although convenient, was noisy, perhaps try and avoid this room. they were continuously cleaning the bathroom which was good. A lack of communal space (apart from the bar) was a shame.

We stayed in a private double room, a high quality room, the glass doored ensuite will not be to everyone's taste. Location is good, 2 minutes from the metro or you can walk to a lot of sights too. Staff helpful, we booked the acrobatics show which was incredible. Rooftop bar is nice with good coffee. Would recommend.

We only stayed for one night but I think the apartment layout would be good if you were staying longer term. Double room OK size, bathrooms a little small. Excellent location, close to main street and airport bus stop. Free (small) evening meal is a bonus. Staff friendly and allowed us to check in early with no extra charge.

Stayed here for a week in August in a private room, rooms are a good size. Really good security, being buzzed in and out. Staff really helpful and friendly. Breakfast is OK. Kitchen could be cleaner. Location excellent, can walk to lots of sights or the metro is a few minutes walk.

Everything excellent. Actually, the only thing is we had to walk through the garden from the two bed dorm to the showers, which was a bit chilly, but that is the only bad thing I can think of. The washing machine free to use is awesome. Staff v. helpful! We did the wine tasting and horse riding tours, both excellent. They even put us on the wine tasting tour on a day it isn't usually offered. Communal kitchen and areas are excellent, lots of space to meet people. Would definitely stay here again

Close to the metro and also walking distance to some sights. Breakfast isn't the best, but OK. Bathrooms are very small. We stayed in a double private room, could do with some renovation and new sheets. Also our room faced the street so was noisy and we were woken by the buzzer during the night. Security was good, you had to be buzzed in and out. Staff helpful.

They initially messed up by putting our booking down for the wrong night, but they redeemed themselves by giving us a lovely private room for the same price as the tent's. The private room was very nice and The private bathroom a treat! Only a short walk into town. Good security.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Good location, only a few blocks from the plaza. Room and bathroom clean, the private rooms upstairs are bigger so ask if they're free. The only thing is there were no lockers, but she locked my passport away in her safe. Would recommend.

We booked a night here to take two tours with the hostel. The 1st, the flight was good, but had a 2 hour wait at the airport! The 2nd, sand boarding never happened. We confirmed with staffthe day before and that morning but 2 minutes before our pick up time he said the vehicle was in the garage and was trying to book us with another tour. They were all full and we couldn't go.We think perhaps he forgot to bookus on the tour?Apart from that the staff were friendly, but it put a downer on nazca for us

We only booked it as a staging post for a trip to the pantanal. We were able to book this with the guy at 10 pm when we arrived, he was a bit of a salesman, but we booked what we wanted for a reasonable price and had a good tour and good info regarding onward travel to bonito and Bolivia. We were here during the world cup and there was a BBQ with the match which had a good atmosphere. breakfast was average, bathroom could do with an update.

Stayed here during the world cup, which i imaghine was the cause for the high prices and not particularly good value for money. Stayed in the double private room, with a surprise balcony.room was a good size with a useful fridge and the room and bathrooms were clean. Location was good, very close to Ipanema beach, however the surrounding restaurants were not budget friendly. Would happily recommend hostel new Ipanema.
