The hostel is in a very convenient location in old San Juan. The pillows are very comfortable and the place is clean. The balcony has a beautiful view of the city!

Moon Light Bay Hostel

Fajardo, Puerto Rico

The hostel has a fun, young vibe but there is absolutely nothing to do in the neighborhood. You really need a car to get around Fajardo. At 8pm, the only place open for food or drinks in a 20min walking radius was a gas station. It's very close to the ferry to Culebra so it could be good to stay the night to get out to the beach early the next day, but this area of Fajardo should not be your main reason for visiting.

The hostel was very clean and modern. It is located on a great street filled with little boutiques and restaurants. It felt much more like a hotel than hostel.

Musicology Hostel

The hostel feels very run down and dirty. The whole place is dank and your luggage gets moist just being in there. The bathroom floors are always wet from the showers and at many points there was only one working toilet for the whole hostel. After two nights, we couldn't take it anymore and moved to a much nicer hostel for only $5 more.
