Very well run hostel: facilities, rooms, cleanliness, value and great staff. Not to mention smack bang in the middle of the city. Highly recommended
Super helpful staff, and a lovely ambiance in the house
It's 60 pesos a night, go figure. Staff are nice once you get to know them, and it's an excellent spot. Otherwise bathrooms are in all honesty shocking, and it feels cold. You get a hot shower WiFi a kitchen and a bed to sleep in, if you're not fussy save your money and stay here for sure
Milhouse and its reputation obviously precedes it, you're not coming to Hipo for a good night's rest, if that's what you're into then sure stay here. Staff are excellent and there are all manner of activities they can set up for you. If you want to get blind one night and have someone hold your hand the next morning then this is for you
Superbly run hostel, Manu really has his finger on the pulse, from the incredibly welcoming common area to the best meals I have had in South America. Must stay if you're visiting the falls
Really well run hostel, great facilities with some of them no doubt excellent for when summer comes around. A couple of short buses to the falls but it's really no hassle, nice tranquil spot
Well managed and run for a reasonable price in world cup time. City itself doesn't have a lot but no complaints with hostel itself
If for any reason you find yourself in Caracas in the current climate then absolutely stay with Alvaro. He was wonderfully accommodating and understanding after I had quite an ordeal passing passing from Colombia to Venezuela (it's a no gringo zone trust me, no matter how good your Spanish). Area is super safe, there's a computer to use, a mall nearby and a lovely rooftop with great breakfast as well. Couldn't recommend him enough!
Very well run for a very reasonable price, this hostel covers everything, clearly run and organised by someone who has their finger on the pulse of travellers. Anything you think you'd need is here, lockers with chargers, super clean bathrooms, great WiFi and computer access, good kitchen, and in a great area La Candelaria
Wonderful hostel with extremely good value for private rooms. I stayed in what I assume was the quieter one but the barrio La Candelaria itself is always happening so there's no risk of being left with nothing to do
The hostel itself is beautiful and the staff are excellent. Well equipped with everything you need. The atmosphere always seems to be happening, had a rowdy crowd when I was there but if that's what you're into then you'll love it
Good choice for Cartagena, pretty much in the middle of everything. Staff are super friendly and attentive, dorms are cosy and well equipped with personal chargers, WiFi is good on the roof, and the roof itself is a great chill out spot in the day and good fun at night. Highly recommended!
Very well run hostel with everything you need. Out of the gringo heavy El Poblado and super close to the metro station estadio (the metro In Medellin is brilliant at all hours). Staff were always kind and attentive and it is well equipped with facilities. Enjoy Medellin, one of my favourite cities, the people are wonderful. And do the walking tour!
Perfect stop in the beautiful sleepy mountain town that is banos. It is a family run hostel and you always feel welcome, with excellent facilities and 24 hour reception you wouldn't want to book anywhere else
Absolutely perfect for the bleary adult theme induced dream that is Montanita. A 2 min stroll from where all the action is which is perfect to come retreat to at night/morn. Both the dorms and private rooms are well maintained, and all the basic facilities are met (hot showers were hit and miss but in Montanita you really couldnt care less) Common area is great to meet people and plan a night out, and shout outs to the sandwich man next door! Best cure for montanitis is fresh food from this dude
It's obvious the hostel staff really take care to maintain their standards and ensure people have a good experience. The views are stunning on the rooftop common area and it's in a nice area of town.
Very well run hostel, friendly staff, well maintained facilities, and an amicable common area.
If you want a night or two to explore the ruins then it's a perfect spot, covers the basics well and has a good cafe and bar as well
Perfect pitstop after arriving from the airport. Staff are super friendly, facilities are all well maintained, and all at an excellent price. Definitely stay here if you're looking for a good rest and accommodating vibes
The hostel is pretty much a case in point of you get what you pay for. You've got a bed to sleep in and a shower basically. For me New York City is one you want to do in comfort, you're up early and home late and all you really want is a good night's sleep. The location in East Harlem is nothing to fear, I didn't walk home super late at night but I quite liked the vibe in 'el barrio'. If you're willing to do NYC super cheap then stay here, but you don't want to do NYC super cheap
