Hostel Ok. Very good location and good value for money, considering that Miami is an expensive city. The bar is good. Expensive, but good

Good staff and good area for socializing. The con is: I stayed 5 night at the hostel. During 4 of them they played de same kind of eletronic music from 6 pm until late. And you can't scape from hearing it, even in the room, because the hostel is small. It made the atmosphere to become very bad for me, since I hate eletronic music

It's a small hostel. Good atmosphere, the owner helps the guests to socialize. The BBQ on the rooftop is also very good

Good hostel in general. The bar could be a bit better, with more food and drink options, but it's Ok

I was supposed to spend 4 nights in the hostel but I had to stay 2 more weeks in Auckland for medical reasons. My ensurance could cover the rest of my staying in a hotel, but I prefered to stay at the same hostel because it's really a good place to stay. Good staff, good location and everything

That's probably the biggest hostel I've ever stayed. Very well located. Room a bit tight. You must pay if you want to access the wi-fi network, wich is very unusual

Excelent location next to the central train station. Good aircon in the rooms and good rooftop area

The hostel is really tight. Only 3 bedrooms (or 4, I can't remenber well) and the only common area is the kitchen, that is also tight. The staff and the atmosphere are nice tough. The location is also very good, few minutes walking from Kremlin and Red Square

Awesome hostel, very nice and helpful staff. They allowed me to check in at 10 am, what was very good since I was tired because of the travel. The bedroom was new and comfortable

Good hostel with a nice bar. The location is also very good, in the city center. Expensive, but everything in Iceland is (the most expensive country that I've ever been)

The hostel looks like a hotel, but in a bad way. There was a lot of groups of teenagers that interacted only among themselves. Not good for solo travelers, since there was a lack of hostel atmosphere.

The hostel is small and the rooms are a bit tight, but the staff is very nice and the BBQs prepaired by them are good. Good hostel in general.
Thanks man for the review! I'm glad you've enjoyed your time here! The idea of the hostel is to be small, so thanks also for that ;). Communal areas are really big, as can be seen in any picture. The total number of beds here is 18, so there's enough room for everybody to chill around and also to share :) Cheers! Matías

The hostel is very good in general, with good staff and good atmosphere. The location is also excelent, in Miraflores close to 24h places. The rooms are a bit tight, but ok. You're also obligated to use a colourful bracelet during your whole staying, wich for me is annoying beacuse you can be easily identified as a hotel guest when you are any place in the city
Dear guest, Thank you for your review. We are located in the heart of Miraflores close to bars, stores and many restaurants. We give to all our guest a bracelet to identify them for security reasons outside and inside the hostel. We dont allow people who are not guest to come inside the hostel and its easier for you to identify you as a guest with the bracelet instead ask you for you ID everytime you come in/out of the hostel. Also you can use your TAB with your bracelet. Looking forward to see you! Regards, Head of front desk

Very good hosel in a good location, close to Plaza de Armas. The staff promote activiites almost every night, wich make the atmosphere nice. The bedrooms are a bit tight, but this is not a big deal

There were no electrical sockets close to the beds, only one central in a six bed room. The guy at the bar didn't seem to like working there. The city of Johannesburg itself doesn't help the traveller to have a good experience in general, since it's not safe to walk around the city. The hostel is average.

A good hostel in general. Clean, well located. The breakfest could be a bit better, there's no protein at all (no cheese, no ham). I don't know why, but the bar was empty most of time.
Thanks for your review! We're glad you liked our location! We think Green Point is the coolest spot in the city! We constantly are reviewing our free breakfast and looking to improve it and there are some changes coming soon to make it even better! As to the bar, we've instituted a new policy that will keep the bar manned constantly!

The hostel is located in a tight street where there are a lot of small hostels and all of them look very similar. The plus of this hostel are the two free beers every night. The hostel is very clean and the staff is very friendly. It's located in a walking distance from the war museum.

It's definetly a party hostel with some good facilities as restaurant and swimming pool. The bad for those who choose a private room is that they are noisy almost 24 hours a day. The private rooms are located very close to the restaurant and in the way of the rooftop bar. I wouldn't recomend a private room in Mad Monkey hostel.

The staff is really nice, but the hostel is not as good as the overall rating said me when I booked it. The common area is only the kitchen. During my stay I thought to myself 'why is the rating for this hostel so high, since there's nothing special here?'. When I checked out I kind of understood: at the check out the staff gives you a hand written message 'thank you for coming, Hope to see you again', in colourful letters with a candy. It's a nice gesture. But the hostel itself...
Thank you for staying with us! It is glad to hear that you enjoyed to stay here. Please come back one day. We are waiting for you again!! See you next time! Khaosan Tokyo Kabuki Team

The staff is very nice. Maybe when the weather is hot the swimming pool might be a good differentia, but during the auttum/winter, the hostel seem to be too quiet. The breakfest is good.

The atmosphere is exactly what I expect from a hostel: people in the mood for interacting with others. Moreover, the hostel is big, has nice common areas and is clean. I also liked the old fashion style of the building.

The hostel is clean and the location is very good, but it doesn't have hostel atmosphere at all. Only private rooms with a double bed plus one bed above. It's good if you're in couple (wich was my case)

The hostel is very clean, very well located and the facilities are excelent, but it doesn't have hostel atmosphere. It seems more like a hotel. The bar is very nice tough (not like a hostel bar, but still nice)

There is a tricky extra payment that you're obligated to do of 7 Fr per day if you're not member of their hostel chain club. I discovered that only when I checked in. The wi fi works only on the lobby of the hostel. The location is not so good, there is almost nothing in walking distance. The bedrooms are large and good and the staff is nice.

The rooms are small, but the beds are good. The location is a highlight, one block from the most famous ruin bar of Budapest

This was the third Wombats hostel that I stayed in. I really liked the two other Wombats (Munich and London) but Wombats Berlin was disappointing. The wi fi was annoyingly horrible, the room were not well cleaned (there were towels on the floor of the bathroom when I arrived and they were still there when I left). The bar was frustrating, with only one kind of beer. Well, I can say that I recommend Wombats Munich and London, but I definitely don't recommend Wombats Berlin.

Pros: the staff is very friendly and the bar is very nice. Cons: the 4 bed room was tiny and there was no lockers inside. The bed is too small and in very poor quality. The internet was rubbish most part of the time.

The rooms are large, the common areas are very nice. The location is very good, 5 minutes from the central bus station. Negative: this was the first time I was charged for the linen.

Excelent atmosphere in this hostel. The most helpful and frienldy staff I've ever found in a hostel. The location is also very good, close to a lot of nice bars and restaurants.

A little tight. And noisy.

My locker was dirty. The bed sheet was not that clean as well. The place sometimes doesn"t have a hostel atmosphere, since there are whole families as guests. Sometimes it looks more like a hotel, but without the comfort of a hotel. The bar was good and the internet wi fi connection very good.

There's no much to be said. Excelent atmosphere, very friendly staff and everything. If I come back to Barcelona I'll surely choose this hostel again.

The staff is very friendly, the room is large and very good. Free breakfest and dinner every day are and free food provided by the hostel in the comunitary kitchen are also very good. But one thing must be said: the bar and the common area are frequented not only by guests but also by local people (usually most of the people are local) in groups, speaking italian and don't interacting with guests. Sometimes it makes the hostel atmosphere goes away...

The hostel is excelent in general. The room is large, the beds are robust, the bar is very good and the location is perfect. The only bad thing: in this hostel I found the worst wi fi connection I've ever seen in a hostel/hotel.

Half hostel, half hotel. It doesn't have the atmosphere of a hostel, but it compensates with excelent instalations and structure. The facilities were better than several hotels I've been to. The location is not bad. Less than 15 minutes walking from the center.
Hi there! Thanks for your feedback - great to read that have had a nice stay here! Hope to see you again next time you are in Brussels - specially in the summer there is a great atmosphere in our bar and terrace with the deck-chairs. Cheers
