HI Siem Reap

Siem Reap, Cambodia

Nothing really particular about this hostel. Everything is good, but nothing is excellent. Air con is way too cold though

Hotel Xoai

Can Tho, Vietnam

One of the best places I've stayed in Vietnam. Very clean place, really helpful staff that helped me plan my travel without trying to sell me anything, awesome 6th floor. Definitely the place to stay in Can Tho

True Friends Inn

Nha Trang, Vietnam

Noisy place, lock everything, even bottles of water "disappears" when staff cleans rooms. Staff isn't really helpful. Clean place. Most dorms have a huge window towards the inside of the building, meaning you can see what happens in other dorms & in kitchen, and dorms get very bright anytime people turn any light on, and really early in the morning.

Dear Romain , Your complain about your the bottle of water disappear in your room , there is few of people stay in your dorm that mean you have to look after it , our cleaner never took anything of our guest . about the window you said that you can look through to another dorm that not true . Please think and make sure thing before you complain . Kind Regards Have a good trip .

Hue Backpackers Hostel

Unhelpful staff, don't book anything through them unless you want to pay 50% extra. Room door was never locked, no locker inside. toilets/showers were dirty, saw cockroaches every day

Very good hostel, clean, provides huge lockers for dorms. Bar and restaurant with good cheap food. Many places to chill out and meet other people. Location is OK but could be better. Staff was very helpful for everything

Best staff, very good location if you plan to go outside Chengdu (which you should).

Angelie Hotel

Jiuzhaigou, China

Nice location, but that's about everything about this hostel. Nothing terrible, but everything is really average.

Teddy Bear Hotel

Mt.Emei, China

Good location, the staff was not particularly helpful. Needs some improvement on security, lockers don't really lock, and the storage room is basically a room where anyone can store and take anything (they ask you to put a sticker with your name on stuff you leave, but never check it on retrieval).

Very good location, next to tourist bus station. Best staff, always helpful, smiling and available (and cute!). About lower security rating: many lockers don't even require a key to open (broken locks, any key can open many lockers), and some concerns about water leaking close to power outlets

Overall good, location is good but not perfect (other hostels are much closer to city center and transportation). Overall quite clean, but some parts are definitely not cleaned often. More showers / toilets would be nice. Very good atmosphere in common areas. Wifi OK, working almost everywhere and usually not too slow (for a Chinese hostel). Staff was good, but some are not the most friendly, for example turning the lights off in common areas with people in it in evening without saying anything

Nothing particular about this hostel

Only problem I have with this hostel is the facilities. Not always clean and some had huge water evacuation issues. Everything else was very good

Overall a very nice hostel, except for the broken shower. Friendly helpful staff. Bar/restaurant is quite nice, but often empty

Cleanest hostel I've seen in China. Perfect place, just a few meters from the beginning of the way to Taishan. Not everyone in the staff can speak English, so depending on the day and people there you might have to go through translators to get understoof by reception. English speaking staff was very helpful. To get there follow Hongmen road the way up, then turn left just before the pedestrian area. Even if the address is Hongmen Road, it's a bit further on a road going left from there.

Napoleon Hostel

Moscow, Russia

A shadow of its past self. I loved it a few years ago, now it's filled with Russian people living in it, with no care at all about others, getting in dorm at 3am to start a movie with no headphones.. or making out. Not enough lockers, staff drinking, beds are incredibly uncomfortable, had marks all over my skin on morning. All rooms&kitchen are really messy. Shower/toilets are clean, not dorms. Dorm door handle falling, force people to register visa even when not needed, accept people with pets.
