Kinlay Eyre Square Hostel

Galway, Ireland

Great place to stay! Central location, comfy beds, good common area and kitchen, strong wifi, and free breakfast. They also help you organize day trips. Highly recommended!!!

Abbey Court

Dublin, Ireland

Perfect location, reasonably priced, and close to everything. Free walking tour was ok, there were only 2 outlets for 6 girls in the room, and one of the breakfast women were extremely mean and rude - she bearded us like cattle on the line and acted like it was everyone else's fault that the line was moving slow (not because there were just so many people and not enough room). Front door to dorms was also supposed to be locked but never was. Stay on main streets and don't walk down side street

Light House Hostel

Edinburgh, Scotland

Great place to stay! Comfy beds, full kitchen and awesome common area. Good place to meet other travelers too. This is not a party hostel which attracts people with a more relaxed vibe. A nice walk to all the major sights and can't beat wash and dry laundry for 5gbp. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Right in the heart of the action, close to a small beach, easy to meet other travelers in kitchen area and offered lots of tours. Wifi didn't work for me so I had to go to the reception building most of the time to get connected. There isnt much privacy in the toilet or showers. There were 2 shower stalls and no doors just shower curtains but you could lock the main door if you were the only person in it. Staff knowledgable and gave good recommendations. You're paying mainly for location.

Rooms Anamarija

Korcula, Croatia

Highly recommend staying here for a relaxing stay. Momo, the owner, picked me up from ferry and dropped me off at the bus station when I was leaving, offers free use of bikes and scooters and welcomes you with a taste of local wine and cookies. The rooms are simple but comfortable and most rooms have a balcony with views of the mountains and the sea. It's about a 15 min walk to town but really close to the water. This was a great place to just be lazy. They also have full kitchens for use.

Hostel Marinero

Hvar, Croatia

This place felt like home and the staff were like family. Extended my stay and best decision. Beds are comfy, common room is the staircase where everyone comes to use wifi and just meet and hang out, restaurant is delicious and we get 10 percent off. It's right in the heart of town so you are footsteps from everything. Kiva bar is downstairs and doesn't quiet down until 2am. Boat rental and wine tour are must dos. Georgie, Megan and Antonija were the best hostesses! I love this place.

Hostel Lika

Zagreb, Croatia

You get what you pay for. The location is really close to the bus station, bakeries and a market but 15-20 mins outside of town center. Beds were squeaky and dorm room on the ground floor got really hot. The shared bathroom on the ground floor was also really small and had a constant mildew like odor. The hosts aren't too helpful especially if you're a solo traveler coming from outside of main Zagreb, don't expect too much info. Use Eko Taxi if you need it and pay a little more for quality.

Dear traveler, out of all, we did not expect this from you. We waited until 2 am for you to check in because you had late flight even though reception is open till midnight and you say staff of not much use, my dear, not very nice after all the help you got. We are really griendly and helpfull hosts, we love our job, otherwise we wouldnt be doing this for 9 years. Considering hot room, enough was to open the windows, night temperature was below 15 celsius. Happy travels, Hostel Lika Team

Pars Tailor's Hostel

Barcelona, Spain

Hostel staff were great, nice kitchen for food storage, close to restaurants, train station, bus to airport and supermarkets, and had a relaxing common area. 12 girl dorm was too small for all the women and bathroom smelled like sewage most of the time. Hostel is a far walk from everything - I would have preferred to stay more central. Wifi didn't work well in rooms either.

Hi, Thanks for staying with us and your nice coment . Sorry for the problem of the bathroom in your room , It was becasue of a common problem in all buildng and it is fixed now . And the wifi in all the world is sometimes some minutes problematic , But you had it for free 24 hours . It is not so important be 24 hours only being with a mobile in hand- there are so many other imprtant and nice things around l. hope wifi is not the center of life in future generations.

El Granado

Granada, Spain

Central location, close to train station and most big sights in the city. Comfortable and cozy space with plenty of common areas. Very relaxed environment, clean rooms and bathrooms.

Cordoba Bed and Be

Cordoba, Spain

Centrally located hostel, large spacious mixed dorm room, very clean, free simple breakfast. Close to train and bus station. Only stayed one night but easily made friends and had a good time. Hostel has a really nice positive vibe and relaxed atmosphere. Wifi doesn't always work throughout hostel though, which is fine because it gives you the chance to talk to other travelers.

Sevilla Hostel One Centro

Seville, Spain

Great stay, friendly and knowledgable staff, and central location. Close to the bus station and Sevilla's main sights. Cozy atmosphere, free sangria, free use of computers, and easy to meet other travels.

Hostel Brikette

Positano, Italy

Fun hostel and great workout to get to the beach. Good common area to meet and hang out with other travelers. Staff are really helpful and nice. The 10 bed dorm can get really loud so be prepared - there's also no lockers in room but you can rent for 5 euros and there is no lock on doors but still felt safe. Views are amazing.

Really happy that enjoyed your stay at the hostel. It is totally fair to say that the 10 bed room can get loud, because it is located next to the bar; we are careful to advertise the room as such. Lockers are available for a 5 euro deposit, which guests get back when they return the key.

My Friends

Florence, Italy

I love this place!! One of the best hostels that I have stayed at in my 4 months of traveling Europe. The owner, Nadina, tells you about all the great places to see, eat and shop and is an amazing hostess. She makes you feel like you are home and helps you plan your stay, especially if visiting other towns too. I met a lot of wonderful people here and will come back again!

Camping Serenissima

Venice, Italy

Just what I needed to get out of the crazy city. It's about a 40min easy bus ride one way to or from Venice but a quiet and peaceful place. Very simple accommodations, reasonably priced, supermarket on sight, fresh air and you can hear the birds singing all day.

Athens, Greece

Beds were comfy, central location but streets and area were sketchy. I was put in the building next door and it wasn't too safe or clean. Try paying a little more for something better. View of Acropolis from rooftop bar was highlight. Wifi is only in reception area.

Zorzis Hotel

Mykonos, Greece

The hospitality of Mia and Jonathan and this hotels central location made my stay in Mykonos memorable. It's located in the heart of town and allows you to go to all the beaches via bus. It felt like being home! I'd go back again for sure!!!

Anny Studios - Perissa Beach

Santorini, Greece

Simple accommodations footsteps from the beach with restaurants on all sides but tucked away for maximum comfort. They picked me up from the airport

I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff was always helpful, breakfast was delicious for 3.90 euro (very reasonable), close to metro station and lots of grocery stores for the budget conscious. They have a big kitchen, lounge and dining area that's pretty bright and spacious. They have 10pm quiet policy, which also keeps the bar at the bar and not in the hallways. Overall, I would stay here again and recommend it to others.

PLUS Berlin

Berlin, Germany

Awesome hostel that is more like a hotel. They had a really good atmosphere and common areas for lounging around. They provide you with fresh comfortable bed, free towels and free wifi. There is a great buffet breakfast for extra fee but worth it. Also, it's a good location close to the train station and East Side Gallery. Staff was always very friendly and helpful in answering questions too. Bonuses are pool, sauna and 24hr laundry room (good price for use of machines).

Hostel was about a 15-20 min walk to the main station but there was a train and bus stop at the corner. It's pretty centrally located and fairly simple accommodations. There are a lot of people though ranging from solo travelers to families with children. They charge for wifi and sometimes things aren't always very clean but you deal with it cause it's hostel life. I only really slept there but there is a bar, pool table and lounge for socializing.

Love this place!! This was my first hostel experience and what a way to start it! Other hostels will have to live up to this one. Great value that includes delicious breakfast and Korean dinners everyday where you can meet other travelers and plan your time either with them or based on their reviews of the sights. Staff and owner were lovely and very helpful with answering questions. Although not in the center of Paris, everything is very close by train and they provide you with good directions.
