Evening activities were really good and amazing prices! Did the tapas night and flamenco, both really great! Pablo took us for the tapas and was super cool. Rooms only have fans, but wifi works everywhere and they offer cheap 2 euro paella dinners which are delicious.
Staff were amazing! Curtains over the beds for privacy, light and power socket for each bed, big locker to secure your stuff. Wifi works everywhere, free breakfast with toast, cereal, scrambled eggs. One of the best hostels I've ever stayed in... and I've stayed in a lot. Shout out to Fabio with the dreadlocks!! :)
Staff were awesome, good place to meet people and chill out in the evenings. Bit far from city centre but amazing views of the mountains!
Fun staff and great vibes at the hostel. Annoying to log into wifi everytime but other than that, great place.
It's not really a hostel, just a hotel with beds added to the rooms. I paid for a 9 bed and got a 4 bed which was great! Location is out of the way, but can't get affordable places in the city centre so it wasn't too bad and buses were close by and accessible. Wifi works in bedrooms as well as lobby area.
No air conditioning, so the room was extremely hot every night I was there. Wifi works fine in lobby area but cut out a lot in other rooms. Free walking tour was great as there aren't any offered in Vienna. Bar was bonus for solo travelers looking to meet people for a night out. Staff were average and didn't really put in the effort to make you feel welcome and weren't very helpful.
Instead of telling customers they need to 'inform themselves of student discounts'. The staff were not helpful and when I asked different staff the same questions I got completely different responses. Had to also pay for linen which is a negative.
Really cool, modern and light hostel. Staff were so lovely! We arrived very early in the morning and they let us come in and hang out, feeding us fresh water and very relaxing music!! The rooms were spacious and bathrooms pretty clean.
Free breakfast was great, mainly pastry, juice and tea/coffee. Like all hostels in Rome need to get trains into central part of Rome but the metro was only a 10-15 min walk away. We had a 4 person dorm, more like an old hotel room with extra beds chucked in, had a bathroom to just the four of us but didn't seem the hotel/hostel cleaned it everyday. Overall positive experience.
Great hostel, staff were super friendly and helpful! They thought someone had messed with my sheets when I arrived and immediately replaced everything! There are laptops for use and it's one of the few hostels actually located in the old city. Bit of a walk from taxi but better than most locations, great vibe.
Really good party vibe at this hostel and the pub crawl was a great way to meet people and get a few free shots! The staff were all young and extra friendly, great place ! Bit of a walk to town centre but not bad.
Was a very quiet hostel, which isn't necessarily bad. Staff were so bubbly and friendlu which made us feel right at home, especially when our flight was delayed and thr night guy was super chill and friendly and just let us go to sleep I stead of bombarding us with details etc. Everything was very clean and great to have a nice big locker for our packs to fit.
The staff at Flamingo Hostel were outstanding, every person I encountered was very friendly and overly helpful! Any question I had they made sure to find the right answer for me. To add, could not believe how well-situated the hostel was, only a 2 minute walk to the main market square where all the free walking tours started, could not have asked for anything more.
