Over the last months I stayed in over 50 hostels around the world. This hostel has without a doubt been one of the bests I've ever been into! I have been surprised by so many things the hostel offered! Absolutely loved spending a few days there! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
Absolutely Great Breakfast!!! Some of the staff member doesn't speak english very well. Charlie was a great help though - speak to him if you need help! Great Guy! =)
One of the best hostels we stayed in on our Round the World Trip!
We just stayed one night. Free pick up is great!
Very cute and newly opened hostel. We just stayed one night there but I would totally stayed longer there. Especially good for people looking for a quiet place to sleep.
This hostel just opened. Hands down, one of the best, if not THE best hostel in around the Yucatan peninsula. We had a great time! There are many people volunteering at the hostel making a very hospitable and warm atmosphere! One night we were free mixing different long drinks (margaritas) with one of the owner. Great guy! Great hostel! Loved the time there! PLUS: great snorkelling equipment and Scuba Diving deals available!
Very quiet and relaxed hostel at the probably best location in Merida. Also they offer tours in which they show you around the sights Merida. The value for them could be better though... However, Oscar brings you to secret spots, great Mexican restaurants and you see a lot in a short time.
This place is ONLY legitimate if you stay a night in LA to catch a flight or bus the next morning. You DONT want to stay longer. The free stuff doesnt make up for the stinky dorm and toilet. Very unfriendly staff.
Probably the worts Hostel we stayed in on our Round the World trip. Its ONLY worth it if you stay for one night and you want to make use of the free pick up.
Don't watch on the rating, this hostel is about the atmosphere, the people and above all the great free (except the tip) tours! I had the best time there!
They just got a brand new kitchen which is absolutely great! What I absolutely don't understand is why there were once lockers in the dorms but not anymore. WE NEED LOCKERS! Eventually I was able to lock my valuables in a locker at the front desk but it is annoying because they close after midnight... The staff was very helpful but didn't always knew Oahu very well... Also the internet just works in the kitchen area, one step outside and its gone. Still nice place to stay though...
There is really not to say much about the hostel. We had a great stay with no troubles or issues. Great breakfast and the lockers are excellent. It's just a 15 minute walk away from the Sydney Opera House or a 2 minute walk from the Kings Kross Station. Also the beds were very cozy.
We have stayed in a LOT of Hostels so far and this was by far the best one we ever been to. Great place to eat all day, hang out during the day and meet some people. Talk to John (no seriously do it), he will give you the best advices possible! Our enjoyed Penang so much because of his advices (especially food haha)! THANK YOU FOR HAVING US!
The owner is super friendly and always happy to help. I appreciated his honesty about whatever question I had. The dorms have video cameras and are therefore very safe. Unfortunately not the best location. Magic happens further up north the beach.
We had good fun there. If you are looking for a decent internet (although it should not be expected in Myanmar), go to its sister hotel Agga something something two blocks down the road....! =)
Among the best and friendliest staff we have met on our travels. The location is very close to the famous sights and to the legendary kaosan road. Unfortunately during the protests it was *very* hard to get there and around...
The hostel provided a tuk-tuk driver for exploring Angkor. We spent two days with our driver. Was great fun with him and I think a good price. There is even a pool in the hostel, that was great after a hot day at Angkor. It's not really a party place though if you're looking for it...
Very clean toilets, showers and rooms. Nice place to be and everything very close in PP!
We didn't really met a lot of people in the hostel. Very quite and chilled. The internet is veeery sloow. Apart from this an excellent hostel!
Best breakfast ever had. After travelling for a few weeks, I couldnt believe what I saw when I walked into the breakfast buffet room! The pancakes are best when fresh made early in the morning - don't miss it!
Lockers were poor as well as the internet connection. But everything from that flawless! They have really nice organized tours for a good price as well!

This is without a doupt one of the best hostels I have ever been into.
I guess one of the best hostels you'll get on gili-t... But the price is high compared with what you'll pay for a bungalow (of you are two personen travelling)! You 'll get to meet great oeople though!!
No AC, stinky rooms and toilet. The rooms are really the most basic you'll get. At least you get a fan... The beds on the top floor are definately better than the ones below!
