Awful...the staff and their families shout to each other regardless of what floor they are in and without any consideration for anyone sleeping. Our room was dinghy and gloomy right next to someone's office unrelated to the hostel...really weird. Not worth going. Perhaps it is not as noisy as other hostels that are more centrally located but in our experience, this place was dismal.

Fabulous place! I was not sure if I was inside a pipe or a hobbit home! A bit too small for more than a couple of days but super fun and well worth it. Excellent location, half way between the town and the beach. DO not miss. Unique experience!

The staff was fabulous. Very helpful and spoke good English. The bathroom is in the courtyard which can be cold in the middle of the night when you are in you PJs.

What makes this place is the reception staff, so helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Hostel is a fair walk from subway and bathroom is in the courtyard which is a bit cold in the middle of the night in your pjs. Will stay here again for sure.

Excellent location and clean hostel, I asked for a tour to Suzhou and was told they didn't know of any but the next day I looked at their wall and there in plain sight they offered tours so the reception staff doesn't seem to know what is going on. Would come back again.
