Located at the top/northern end of the city up LOTS OF STAIRS. If you do NOT like steps, don't stay here. It is close to the 'Red Keep' and the gate/road to the cable car. Hostel itself is clean but small, nowhere to put luggage in the dorm room. Good AC though.
Located at the beach, not the old town. The old town in a 5min walk along the beach, which isn't far and well lit at night. Some restaurants along the beach and some in the old town. Could feel the springs in the bed mattress but it was OK and the bathroom was clean.

Tarik runs a very good riad! It's a big house with 4 rooms and ensuite bathrooms located just 2 mins walk from the Blue Gate. Tarik provides breakfast each morning and can organise taxi/tour guide etc. Our tour guide (Abdul) was brilliant - showed us around the medina for about 6hrs for 400dh and showed us each district (leather, shoes, fruit, meat, handicrafts, rugs etc) without the pressure of buying anything. We will come back and stay here!
Staff are the most friendly, approachable and helpful I have encountered at a hostel. There's also free sangria every evening and the option to have the hostel dinner. The two free tours are worth doing and a great way to meet fellow travellers in the hostel. The recommended flamenco show was incredible too. Will stay here again!
