Mamas Pension, Mykonos, Greece

23rd Jun 2014

Mamas was exactly what my sister and I were looking for during our stay in Mykonos. Mamas is a 1.60 euro/5 minute bus ride into town, and the perfect getaway. Closest to St. Stefano beach, with a few restaurants and market along the water. We had an ocean view, and were upgraded to a spacious room with a kitchen upon arrival. Christina is the absolute sweetest, and made us feel welcomed into the family. Such a cozy, comfortable stay in an apartment ran by a close family.

Had a wonderful time here. A 3 minute walk to Perissa Beach, along with a pool and bar on site. We loved Perissa Beach, just a 20 minute bus ride from Fira. We did not want to stay in the most touristy part of the island, and found this a nice getaway. Transportation to the islands main attractions (

Studios Margo, Naxos, Greece

I'm so excited to share this gem with anyone looking to stay here. My sister and I fell in love with Naxos, and Studios Margo played a large role in our time spent here. We were immediately welcomed at the pier by Nikitas, and driven to our room about 3 minutes from the water (15 minutes walking). We loved the hammocks out on the deck, and had all of our questions answered quickly. Grocery store, bakery, restaurants, transportation options, Old Town all within a 15 minute walk.

Had a wonderful experience here. I booked an 8 bed room, but upon arrival was upgraded to a single with just the right amount of space. I was provided with clean towels every day, and had nothing but pleasant interactions with the staff. Dan, the owner of the hostel, is the hardest working man I've ever met. He dedicates so much time to making sure every guest has the best experience (including spaghetti and champagne parties).
