Clean, comfortable my favourite hostel in Oz. the little details like a light/plug at each bed, big lockers, girls room all pink, with full size mirror, flat iron, hair dryer. The kitchen was very clean, there are 100s of movies, big comfy couch, free WIFI, free surf boards, free pick up. Far from hastings (they have a few shuttles) closer to a nicer beach than main beach. the only thing is the location, kinda secluded. But vibe and cleanliness were excellent

my fav hostel so far, FREE activities,: surf kayaking, SUP, surf boards, body boards, kayaks..2 activities organized day/night, clean, big kitchen, great staff. only cons: 2 plugs in a room for 4, 4 lockers in a room of six. because everything is free, its worth it, you'll save money, but can do lots 13 min walk to coles and 10 to the beach.

this is a very chilled out hostel, small but great place to meet people, everything was clean, big kitchen, a short walk to the beach and coles, love that they pick you up from the bus stop. theres no locker in the room, but in the common area, no one really locks the doors, but it feels safe. also a theres a donation box for a bottle of wine, so nice and cheap

I was disappointed with my stay, far from the city (the bus in traffic can take over an hour, 15min walk to train) the staff weren't very knowledgeable of city transportation (could not tell me which bus # and direction to take) there were no brochures for the city, the washrooms were dirty, there was no lock for my cupboard. Most of the ppl staying are long term, so hard to meet anyone and there are no organized tours. the kitchen was well equipped and kept clean that's the only positive.
