Emerald Fields

The location of the hostel is good, close to the station and about 5 minutes walk for the Duomo. There wasn't much atmosphere in this hostel, it wasn't very social. It was really inconvenient being kicked out of the hostel from 11-2 each day as it meant you couldn't come back if you had forgotten something. A key had broken in the front door so it was left open all the time so anyone could walk in. The kitchen doesn't have a stove/oven so you cannot cook anything.

Casa di Antonella

Siena, Italy

We stayed at Casa di Antonella for 2 nights. The location is fantastic, only a few minutes walk from the main square and the Duomo. It was on a main street but still very quiet. We opted not to have the breakfast but it looked great. We didn't really see any other guests during our stay so it felt like we had an apartment to ourselves. Fabrizio was very accommodating.

Pal's Hostel

Budapest, Hungary

It is a fantastic location, close to the main sights of Budapest, 30 seconds to the Basilica.. Close to lots of restaurants and bars. It's not a very social hostel- we didn't see any other guests during our stay (which is a good or bad thing depending on what you're looking for!). It was very clean. We were staying in a room above reception with a staircase not built for a suitcase. Staff were ok, didn't really acknowledge us unless we had a question.
