Big Chill Hostel

Great experience overall. The hostel is located really close to some of the worlds most beautiful beaches (closest 5 min walk/ farthest 20 min walk) Lee the manager is a machine and does the job of 5 people, all with a big smile and great attitude. The facilities are wonderful- nice common areas, well equipped kitchens, good wifi and outdoor space. We were there sun-Tuesday and were still able to rally groups to go out drinking. Thurs-Saturday Lee does pub crawls and we heard they're great.

Lucky Lake Hostel

All time favorite hostel experience. We recommend this place to everyone we meet on our travels. The hostel staff are awesome and friendly people from all over the world (with great music taste). The free breakfast really goes above and beyond, serving the usual along with eggs or pancakes. The outdoor kitchen is well equipped and the smoking room is comfy with good vibes. The whole colorful caravan theme is genius and perfect for a visit to Amsterdam.I would not miss the chance to stay at LL!

My friend and I really enjoyed this hostel because of the great facilities, location and atmosphere. The hostel has a really spacious common area, cool outdoor balcony area and a well equipped kitchen. The location is also great- right next to a metro and close by a lot of restaurants and markets. We ended up having to stay at St. Christopher's for one of the nights and were bummed to leave comebackpackers. This hostel has a homey and laid-back vibe and is good place to meet other travelers.

The location is definitely not central. It takes about 15 minutes on a bus or 45 minutes walking. We had an issue getting our deposit back because of a miscommunication within the staff which complicated our departure. The internet did not reach our rooms although I think it reached most of the other dorm rooms. The worst was that all the doors always seemed to be slamming shut really loudly. They have a kitchen, refrigerator and a great outdoor area with awesome art all over, which was cool.

Earthers Hostel

Hvar, Croatia

Earthers is the best hostel we've ever stayed at. The people we met during our stay were unforgettable, both the staff and the guests were super friendly and outgoing. Jeffs' pancakes were delicious and the kitchen is really well equipped. The house is an easy walk to everything and Jeff and Rob help you get the best prices for taking adventures around the island. The house has a very relaxed, and comfortable atmosphere with an amazing view of the water and sunset. We were so sad to leave.

This was by far our FAVORITE hostel experience to date. When you walk into this hostel you feel like your friends just rented a summer beach house. There is plenty of outdoor space, a fully equipped kitchen, great common area and big rooms! The owners Rob and Jeff are amazing and really helpful. They helped us get great deals on activities around the island. They always encourage group activities/outings and plan daily hostel events. We highly recommend this hostel and cannot wait to go back!!N&J

This hostel had a good location but was not a great experience. The hostel was very small and the internet and hot water runs out when too many people are using it. The staff were friendly but not super helpful with recommendations on things to do or see. The common room is not an ideal space to hang out and/or meet people. We were always told to stay as quiet as possible and even asked to leave the common room by midnight on a Saturday night. Really Comfy beds though - good place to sleep.
