Daniele was an excellent host, recommending a great restaurant for dinner, and the breakfast provided in a local cafe was of excellent quality.

It was great to have an air-conditioner & we really appreciated the washing machine & ironing board. Staff were very helpful, and when the hot water service broke down they got it fixed promptly. The apartment was very roomy and the building has an awesome atmosphere being a palazzo with a water gate to a canal. It was a cool oasis after the heat and humidity of Venice in July.

We really enjoyed our stay. There is plenty of room in the bedrooms, much more than the usual hostel and no bunks. The rooms are quiet at night, being on the inside of the building around the courtyard. The bathrooms are also more roomy and dry than the usual hostel. We also appreciated the large lockable cupboards. The breakfast is excellent, with plenty of food and Lavazza expresso. Staff were really helpful with maps and directions for supermarkets, buses & trams.

This hostel is a pub. The bathroom needs a renovation urgently. The time limited taps in the sinks and showers either don't work and you have to press them every 30secs or they spray out of the basins all over your clothes. The bedroom had plenty of room (for a hostel) but the cages under the beds were too small for lockers. The window was stuck open (it had been painted stuck that way) and as it was on the street side over the entrance to the pub we were kept awake in to the small hours.

Sorry to hear your stay was not all to your satisfactory. The hostel is connected to Belushi's, where all our guests receive great offers on food and drinks! We are currently renovating our bathrooms and we try to do our part for the environment, which includes saving water, hence why it automatically stops after a period of time. Option of renting lockers are available. If there ever is a problem with noise you can always drop by reception for free earplugs! Have a great time! The Bath Team
