Although located quite close the centre we were a bit disappointed as wifi cost 2 euro for 24 hours and you had to pay for toilet paper. Many mosquitos but that was to be expected from a campsite. None of the bathrooms provided soap which was disgusting for a campsite. However it was a very friendly place and easy to make friends, the mini mart and pizzeria were quite good and you could get draught beer. The lock on our tent worked fine. Bus stop directly out front of the campsite.
In a good location, beautiful ruin bar downstairs with cheap beer. Very secure but so hard sleeping at night from noise downstairs. Provided lockers but our pillows were lumpy and uncomfortable, not enough sheets in the room. Bathrooms were very dirty and grimey, showers were cold at times. The staff were hilarous and knew how to have fun. Good value for money, close to train station and within walking distance of resturants and bars. Stored our luggage for free and had vending machines too.
Such a great place to stay! right beside the east side gallery, had a bar on board and the loveliest staff members who even did our washing completely for us. Great value for money in a beautiful location, we wish we could have stayed longer. Very secure and comfortable rooms with lockers, very easy to meet people too. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone for a unique berlin experience. 10/10
Gastama was amazing!! The staff are all so friendly and accommodating, we even partied with them. Awesome chill out spot and bar. Everything was spotless and new, so clean and close to everything. Would definitely recommend! Great atmosphere.

In a good location but the 24hr bistro was actually a bar (not 24hr) which only offered a bowl of chips. Some of the reception staff were lovely but others very rude and actually made us late for a train. Really good dorms and comfortable beds, newly renovated. Only 1 washing machine which was broken and always had a long line to use it. Overall it was good to stay for a few nights but we were constantly presented with unexpected costs for basic facilities like towels. Would maybe return again.
Lucky Lake is by far the coolest hostel in Amsterdam! The staff are so incredibly friendly and helpful it was quite refreshing. They have decked out the hostel in pastel colours and cool decorations it was very pretty to look at. The smoking room was pretty awesome, super chilled. I didn't want to leave!
