This place was a great place to crash the night, as I did. But I was told my some people who had been there for a month that security of personal belongings wasn't good. Apparently a lot of theft. So be on your guard. Otherwise the place is a typical hostel. Old building, very old mattresses, lots of nationalities, cheap prices but in a great location. Personally I wouldn't spend more than a night there.
This was possibly the best hostel out of the four I stayed in. It was clean, close to what's happening, the staff were nice, there was a bar, and a tv with music playing most if the time. I found the wifi hard to get in the rooms, however the front dining area it worked fine. Also I had problems sleeping with the amount of kids that stayed here. Running around and thumping all night long. I wasn't sure kids were aloud at hostels? Well they are at this one. Invest in ear plugs.....
This place was in prime location. 2 minute walk to paddington. When I arrived I was told about my room, and the issue they had with the shower, from that I was given a discount. So that was nice. The shower didn't work. But there was a community shower down stairs. Which was great. The beds were good, fresh linen was a great feature, and safes in the room was also a great feature. Being your own lock. Other wise good hostel, okay prices.
Found the gallery good for my first time in a hostel. I do believe the staff were a little average however. Overall for affordability and location it's not a bad hostel.
